It was always threatened that the Sussex area was a huge catchment. It is being proved now, give people what they want, facilities and they'll come flocking. And I am also absolutely convinced we'll be forcing the charge for auto promotion next season. That will have people scrambling for tickets.
It makes sense that the transfer list isn't big as we already have the quality, two or three strong acquisitions in vital positions will make us very viable.
I'll be going to Arsenal/Tottenham area to watch tonight in Green Lanes, Haringey. So anything I can do to piss off the yiddos works for me. I think it'll be low scoring, maybe even 1-1 and pens, but I hope it is high scoring and Chelsea become the first ever London side to win the cup.
Edit...
I won't go into the facts and crap as I may get accused of being biased towards the English club
But there must be a passing interest in this game for a lot of football supporters as opposed to partisan football supporters, after all it is the European Champions League Final.
Arundel had, I believe, 26 pubs in the early 80's and is now down to around 12... Three Crowns and South Strand in East Preston, long since passed over to the other side. Oh and the Fletchers at Angmering station.
I think it could be a bit of a mare in London, but on the bright side, no engineering works, I bet the signals don't crash and all will be running smoothly on the public transport. Just an extra 90 million (or is that billion) people in the capital... us Londoners live with it 365 anyway, so...
Sorry to put a downer but a young lad (Connor Saunders) that played for Peacehaven got murdered a few weeks ago and the club have been raising funds. Sussex non league has been very generous. Nomad Forum View topic - Thank You ... please continue, said my bit.
