Loads of trains back to Haywards Heath from Brighton. Don't go to Lewes. Check out national rail enquiries website and you'll see what time the last train to Haywards Heath is... it's definitely after 11. So you'll have time for a pint or two by Brighton station before heading home!
erm. wander down to falmer station after the match. short wait. train to brighton. then jump on one of the numerous london bound services that run until 11.30 ish. and that's it. you'll even have time to pick up some tinnies for the journey from brighton station.
that sounds about right. Gus highlighted him in an Argus feature i think as the best forward in league 1 last year (if it's the guy who was on loan at Hudders we're talking about)
He played in that wicked Valencia team that featured Killy Gonzalez and Mendiatta and John Carew (when he was good) didn't he. Used to enjoy those matches hugely, when La Liga was really really good. They reached consecutive champions league finals i think... they were properly properly...
Entrance is a little tight but i would recommend the west upper. Pop your card in the slot to enter, then simply work your way up and up that staircase, then it opens out nicely to that sweaty hot concourse awash with bittery fluid from the harveys pump.
i really hope tickets don't go on general sale for this. it would be hideous if home end tickets ended up in the hands of plastic scousers. don't think they will mind, loyalty point scheme will apply for this one surely.
The secret is starting to get out! These buses are superb if you want to get away quickly. I caught the P bus after the Sunderland game, straight up the steps, back of the coach park, and there they are loading up and rolling out. Really good service. I think B&H Buses are going to have to start...
another striker plus a big money player... blimey they are REALLY going for it this season aren't they. I'm glad Lord Tony is so ambitious... most of us are just loving the new ground and championship footy, he must be sat there going 'yeah it's not bad... but you should see what i've got...
Loath to post anything critical as my love for the amex is total.
However if you're asking... half-time in the West Upper can be a bit of mission. Takes ages to get through to the pissers, they need way more urinals up there. Plus the caterers are still under-staffing the kiosks. Please help...
Dunk was immense. He's been superb all season. He looked a much better player than Wes Brown on the night - not saying he's a better player (although he might be in time), just saying that he completely outplayed him.
caught the P bus for the first time and home within about 30 mins of the final whistle. very impressed indeed. will be using this option again in the future.
i think the various special buses will grow in popularity as the season goes on, for example i would image the bus to shoreham takes...
