Loads of footy within easy reach of cologne. dortmund is about 1 hour on the train (i think?) to experience the biggest and best tarrace in european football for example. great train connections from cologne. dusseldorf. leverkusen etc etc. check out the fixtures for the weekend sir.
to the guys in the NSK and others trying to get this going... i wouldn't bother with north stand chat, as you'll just get a load of negative moaning and people whining on about terraces this and terraces that... carry on with your plans and give it a go. it will sound superb against hull i'm...
Richard - any plans to increase the number of 25 buses running post match (i would be happy to get these back to town, if i knew they were available post-match) oh and well done on the low-key stewarding (from what i've seem anyway) and a double well done on the post match bar opening thing -...
Loads of parking round there - including the huge station car park, which i assume is free after a certain time in the evening. You could get the 'S' bus back to Shoreham after the game, rather than the train, which might be quicker and easier.
would it help if B&H Buses ran a '25 football special' which ran from Palmeira Square, Churchill Square, Old Steine, St Peters Church, couple of stops on the Lewes Road, then fast to the stadium (the usual 25 route, but with less stops to speed it up).
I think if there were, say, 10 of these...
having been at the other recent palace fixtures... i would think the palace fans have far more to be worried about than us! that horrific 5.0 game... i never knew we had so many nutty fans - i would image most of their lot are a bit nervous about coming down for the game.
would people please...
WSU - the service has definitely got worse up there. I have pretty much given up bothering to buy anything now until after full time. Just wanted a bottle of water on Friday, but those fosters stalls had none left at 7.15 (they usually offer fosters and water).
It saddens me because i WANT TO...
that's daft. i've walked past the queue pre and post match now for every home game, thinking to myself 'was hoping to get a pint in Dick's, but as there's a queue i'll just head straight to the concourse bars' pubs don't do this.
does anybody know if the tunnel will definitely be shut all day... or is there a chance it will re-open later today perhaps?
Maybe if anybody is driving back in the direction of London after the game tonight, and they have space in their car, they could help fellow fans and offer lifts back to...
Vincelot will stay at left back. Lua Lua will come in for Noone. Dicker and Harley will replace Navarro and Sparrow. Barnes in for Buckley. And we'll win 4.1!
it's not really much pissing about is it buddy! 2 changes, one of which takes place about 3 mins from Brighton (Hove) - get some tins from brighton station, and then relax on the train home with some nice cold ones.
don't think we'll see Painter used a centre half - i agree with your general point though, elphic or el-abd would need to come back and have some absolute stormers to dislodge dunk or greer. actually on this point, the injury to navarro resulted in bridcutt joining last year... and the injuries...
i hope carroll plays... he's a donkey. i think we're going to win with something to spare... liverpool seem super complacent at the moment, i think kenny d has been found out a bit, they've spent badly and are now stuck with a 35 million donkey up front.
the specials from falmer don't show in national rail enquiries. surely it would be easier to head to brighton and then you have a number of trains to haywards heath, through til 1116. up to you though dude.
The gills game wasn't representative of the midweek train service, as the club massively underestimated the attendance... the Sunderland game is the benchmark. Even though that went to extra time the trains ran smoothly - in my experience anyway.
