Not a Single Brighton Player Submitted A Transfer Request

Contact negotiations must remain confidential between the club and a player. By issuing a clarification, the club will be breaking that confidentiality.

Forster Saga - fans will vote with their feet

Currently it's far from certain that Brighton will remain in League One next season, so how can Gus decide whether the out-of-contract players should be on a league one wage or on a league two wage next season. If these players want a contract which pays a league one wage, they need to earn it.

    Brighton fans on soccer am

Compared to some of the fans, ours are looking well attired in full kit; a couple of weeks ago, a set of fans turned up without their shorts and looked a right shambles.

    Ultimate loyalty Brighton or England??

Brighton. I feel closer to the Brighton team than I do the England team.

    What was your first car?

Triumph Herald 13/60. Had such a tight turning circle it could turn on a sixpence - useful for getting out of tight parking spaces.

What Were Your Most Memorable Bits of the Day Out to Villa?

A pint of Guinness in the Bartons Arms before the game. The chips in the Doug Ellis lower stand. Freshly fried; with salt, vinegar & ketchup. Best yet at a footie ground. Mr Elphick sticking one in, and Mr Forster doing the same right in front of us.

    Villa v brighton the video

Well done Dave. The thing about videoing a game like this is that you either you watch the game with your own eyes, or watch what the video is recording - so thanks for doing the latter, while we all did the former! By the way, was oxygen available where you were? Jeez - that was high up!

    Your most prized Albion memorabilia

Got a few, including a 1 foot square of grass from the Goldstone (there's a lot of it on NSC!) and a blue 1983 BHA Wembley v-neck sweater from the Goldstone shop - it's getting a bit thin these days, but it had an outing at Villa.

    Quadrophenia (1979) - ITV1 - 11.30pm

Fans of The Who might like to know that they are the turn on the half time show at this year's Superbowl. Which is also on TV late on a Sunday night.

    1. Curly Wurly served at room temperature (the choc flakes off when chilled) 2. Whole Nut, preferably chilled.

    the Argus (wrong again)

It is the duty of all of us to place copies of The Argus over the Daily Mail (and the Express for that matter) in WHSmith to prevent the suicides that will inevitably occur when some readers become so depressed that there is only one course of action left to them. :tantrum: :shootself

Andrew Whing - Would You Play Him On Saturday?

Whingy should be given a spot on the bench. If, later on in the game, it looks like we can get something out of it - then we stay with our strongest team at that moment; if we are getting stuffed, then bring him on. Bringing him on against Villa might also be the spur to reignite the passion...
