I really have no problem with Virgo playing in goal, if *IF* injuries and suspensions demand it. It was when Adams was consistently shoehorning him into the team when he had other (arguably better) players in that position warming the bench that pissed people off.

To be fair we could be in a relegation scrap. I dont think we will at all but we *could* and if you are some hack who knows we only just survived last season and havent paid much attention (stadium, Bloom, signings) then I spose you would have us down to struggle again.

Exactly. Wasnt the best, certainly wasnt the worst. Took a decent penalty and didnt do or say anything to piss the fans off while here. So yes I think polite applause is in order.
