Do they? So the WHOLE population of the UK have been asked between the age of 18 -45 then that they are cask ale drinkers? Bollocks. What about women? Utter CRAP. 35% my ding a ling. Was this study in a CAMRA pub or a real ale festival?
I think you will find its more to do with the PRICE of a...
Significant percentage? MY ARSE.
So what you are saying is that for ten or twelve people it should offer them a choice?
It does its called a pub.
Most people who attend venues nowadays know, actually KNOW that you will basically get lager, cider, something like John Smiths or Murphys and...
He is twenty one.
I will say that AGAIN. TWENTY ONE.
And he IS scoring goals. He already has some under his belt and had the bollocks to take a penalty as well.
Barnes :clap2:
It also takes longer to "pour" as well.
There will be machines that produce 6/8 pints (or whatever) at a time...similar to festivals/o2/cricket etc.
So it will be *probably* Fosters, Strongbow, John Smiths.
And wine in those little plastic bottles.
So because they dont serve Harveys there may be about a dozen people who will get annoyed. How is this self inflicted? Corporates will outweigh ANY amount they spend ten to one.
There are other watering holes in town and probably the swan who do serve it.
Hear hear.
We kept the club going in times of stress to bask in the glory of one day bringing Man Utd and Arsenal etc to the ground on a regular basis.
If we dont want that then lets stay at Withdean forever having our Villa scarves and Donny love ins.
Thing is we must stop this "village" thinking.
I like it that we are now thinking BIG. If having some more corporates means that we dont have a supporters bar then so what?
Isnt it something like a £1m PROFIT a game is made by Arsenal from corporates ALONE. Its a bigger stadium granted so...
Surely supporters bars are at noddy clubs anyway. Not where there are 000s of fans. Correct me if Im wrong but Im sure places like the Emirates dont have a supporters bar..?
Maybe we could have a "one off bar" where we can meet Doncaster, Wrexham and of course Aston Villa fans when (and if) we play them.
People could wear their special hats and scarves for the event.
Plenty of drinking holes for supporters around the ground as I understand it. Do we really need a "fans bar"?
In all honesty I thought that idea was a bit, well shit.
Without going down the player for player (and of course I agree that we have the best players in every position) the best "team" is the one thats top.
And thats us at the moment. Lets hope it is come May!
That was a bit tongue in cheek, especially with the long queue and the bomb ticking, however interesting stat that there are literally 000s of unexploded WWII bombs. Many have been uncovered at the olympics site.
