I have no idea why the OP linked Black History month and Armistice Day.
But since it's been done, let me try and make some link, with a personal story that I hope will be seen as appropriate for today.
When I was much younger I spent some time living and working in a rural area of West Africa...
Indeed, and I'd imagine Leeds will look at this result in the same way eg 'unlucky, but keep playing like that and we'll be fine'.
I say this without any joy, as someone with money on Leeds to go down!
Watched match of the day and Leeds were unlucky. Two very good finishes from Bamford, and the one that was ruled out was a farce, it 100% was a goal.
Terrible defending for their last it is true, but I don't think they'll get too upset about that loss, it could have gone very differently.
That twitter thread is the best piece of political reporting I have seen in the entire election, bar none.
Sums up the end of this Presidency so perfectly.
'I came to Four Seasons Total Landscaping to see if the president’s lawyers would offer any evidence of the fraud they have been alleging...
From what I can gather this is normal, the last few thousand votes always take a long time, as they are the complicated ones that get put aside for various reasons (might be damaged in some way, or part of a group that were sent out and recalled etc) and have to be checked and verified by hand...
They've have been saying the same thing more or less for three days and nights straight. They are hanging in and still managing to be impressively slick, but beginning to look a bit frazzled and wild behind the eyes now.

This is starting to look like genius from the Pennyslvania officials, whether deliberate or not.
They're making a huge show of carefully assessing and counting every single vote, no matter how long that takes. This is both demonstrating the validity of the process and also boring everyone to...
Given how much needs to be done, and how quickly, yes of course I'd like to see him get an effective majority in the senate. It'll be tight enough that there won't be any lack of accountability.
But I doubt it will happen. The votes that seem to have got Biden over the line in Georgia are...
Agree insofar as he's been working hard and linking well, and many of the comments are unfair, but he just doesn't seem to be able to get a shot off when he's in a good position.
I heard that the Democrats are pretty relaxed about this because they know that the Trump leaning areas are getting counted now, but there are also Democrat areas to go after that and they exect the lead to tighten and then grow again before its finished. That's why the media outlets that called...
Because there is no evidence of any substantial fraud. When asked for evidence those claiming it do not provide anything. Everyone can see these are not serious claims. It's laughable and making them (and anyone taking these claims seriously) look very stupid.
And it's not 'neutral'...
So what was wrong with the existing conspiricy theory thread for people who are desperate to see themselves as heroically 'free thinking' and/or don't understand how science works?
Not sure if you are serious?
In a way though he does win. He draws Morgan into a long discussion over a specific incident which for most people was only ever part of the Trump sideshow and never meant to be taken very seriously. Morgan can't resist because he sees a chance to 'win' and (in his...
Georgia is looking increasingly positive for Biden, but I don't know where the remaining votes are coming from. Patterns could change eg if there are a lot of military mail-ins still to count?
I had assumed north carolina was out of reach for Biden, but increasingy it looks like it may get much...
