What the hell is he talking about?
"The costs incurred in decontaminating the atmosphere will add enormously to the running of the stadium"
???
What a nut-job.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Larger Vechiles should pay more road tax!!
I have no problem with diverting money to good causes like the NHS or education. However I doubt very much that that is where it goes.
I feel pretty confident that the money the government takes would easily cover all...
Not if the aim is to make the wider public aware of the feeling towards the stadium and turn them against the council to change their stance indirectly.
So the yes vote would have been even more unanimous if it had been available to everyone.
However, I presume the reasoning was that it was the best way to ensure that only residents of Brighton and Hove could vote.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Larger Vechiles should pay more road tax!!
If they used all the money they made from taxing fuel and vehicles and used it ALL to improve public transport then buses and trains would be free. Unfortunately most of the money goes nowhere near roads or transport.
Re: Re: Re: Larger Vechiles should pay more road tax!!
It would also ensure that foreign drivers who do not pay road tax contribute to the system when they fill up their cars.
I've always thought it would be a much fairer and more sensible approach. As such it is never going to happen.
There are two separate rows of trees between the pond and the stadium plus the stadium will be at a lower level.
If you stand at the pond there will be absolutely no evidence that a stadium even exists there.
Unless you are many stories tall like Godzilla.
Good work Sully. Unfortunately we know exactly what the reply to the letter will be. The same bullshit and wriggling out of it that they did when confronted about the photos they doctored.
