I tend to avoid biographies if I can help it as they are quite often about incredibly dull lives but are padded out to fill a whole book. Footballers' books are a perfect example.
Lenny Mclean's was pretty good and some of the prison/crime ones are ok. I'd recommend "You Got Nothing Coming...
They don't according to the website:
