What a great player remember him against Millwall and I think we were down to ten men. He just kept going past there defenders again and again like they weren't there. Think we lost either 4-3 or 3-2 but he was amazing.
i hate the fact that everyone always says that Livermore played a massive part in Hull getting promoted to the Premier League, when he spent the latter part of the season on loan at Oldham. That's like saying Jake Robinson helped keep us up!
And please add El Abd to that list along with Dixon...
I got caught up in that on the way home from work. A motorcycle had hit the side of an Astra estate, looks like the Astra had pulled out of a junction and taken out the motorcyclist. It didn't look that promising for the person on the bike from what I saw.
I'd like him to stay but he clearly thinks he is better than us, so for that reason get shot and make some good money from the fella and a nice sell on clause wouldn't go amiss.
Jimmy Case. Albion playing legend and the worst manager I have seen. More players played out of position than under Adams. And probably the last Albion manager to have some serious cash for players. Peake, Baird, Maskell, Mcdonald all brought for big money in those days.
He is on loan at Eastbourne Borough at the moment and was on the bench for their win yesterday.
I saw him play against Hastings preseason and to be honest i wasn't that impressed. But then no one really stood out that night other than Lynch.
Lloyd got lucky with one player - Gary Nelson. What about Byrne/Small/Gotsmanov/Keeley/Beeney/Foster/Gall etc?
I don't disagree that he had no personality but he signed some bloody good players for us, i'd kill to see players of that quality at our club now.
If the french lad signs for Millwall and does well, then more people will be on Mcghee's back. If he does nothing then no ones going to praise Mcghee for making the right decision. I think it's got to the stage where the club have no choice but to get shot of Mcghee. The negativity around this...
Just to cheer you all up the french left back is on trial with Millwall and played 45mins against Palace in todays friendly. Just seen it on the millwall website. Read into that what you may. 9 arrests in the so called friendly aswell!
