There is a dedicated service today at the club shop and by telephone for todays match only. No other match tickets can be purchased only the Woking match. So the answer is Yes!
Do not think we will have any Withdean style atmosphere problems at the Amex - if these small clips are anything to go by even the slightest noise seemed to carry and reverberate around. Marvellous scenes!
May not be up there in the top 10 all time best Albion footballers - but when you look at this list he is certainly an Albion legend in my book. Without a doubt he will get a good reception if he plays.
CaptainDave - have just moved from Liverpool and agree that the city has a lot going for it nowadays and to live there through the European City of Culture year was a great experience. However, not sure it is that great to be an Albion supporter living in Liverpool. Sure as you say you can get...
Big big Character - never had quite the success on the field to match his character. For me the Brighton/Palace thing started in the third division when it was Cloughie's Brighton v Big Al's Palace. Then it was really a battle of the big named managers, little did we know then quite how potent...
Still waiting for my original Brentford ticket to show up in the post - thankfully phoned the club and they arranged for a duplicate - which was great but messes up the travel voucher bit!
Interesting to know the percentage of tickets that are posted and never arrive - nothing to do with the...
Bit of a mess now - a very dangerous but at the moment fully complete shell. The council and the pier supporters seemed confident of the restoration needed to re-open the pier. Now I would suspect that it will be too costly to dismantle and too costly to restore. A burnt out relic of a...
Hastings and St Leonards are really a smaller poor mans version of Brighton and Hove - with much the same problems - the pier is part of it's heritage and if damaged beyond repair will be a very sad loss to the area that badly needs it's icons.
At least they have arrested two people in...
It is all about travel really. Hastings is probably similar distance to London as Brighton is from London. Yet the quickest train will take about 1 hour 40 minutes, compared to the service from Brighton which is less than an hour. The A21 is a none fast A road - while the A23 & M23 from...
Do report it, a one off and they will do nothing, but if the picture builds around an area they will investigate. We had a postie a few years back that just kept a lot of our mail back (including some Albion tickets that never turned up - the shame!) she eventually got found out, and they found...
Are you sure that was not a Peter Ward Photo - remember it well but it was Wardy - unless a similar photo also appeared of Kit?
Going onto Kit Napier, have to be honest that team photo of the promotion wining side 2 BC (Before Clough!) far more memorable than anything we have seen for the last...
Depends what style if you like crime/thriller types ones I have enjoyed this year are by authors:
Simon Beckett, Val McDermid, Linwood Barclay and Brighton's own detective series by Peter James - but books by these authors are best sellers so I might be stating the obvious ones you have read.
Could be a valid reason or for some other personal issue rather than a football one.
Seem to recall this has happened before with Whing - but maybe others with better memories can confirm?
Agreed and you can also never underestimate the publicity value to the club for having got Clough who was the biggest name around in football at the time. And what was to come over the next few years fully made up for the horror of watching the Walton and Hersham and Bristol Rovers thrashings.
Got a text from a mate saying it is fate that Hooper will be signing for us before Saturday.
Oops! sorry just re-read it: going to a fete signed up for the hoopla on Saturday! :dunce:
