Well, those people do have a say, both by who they chose to elect as their head of state and national Government (potential referendum like we had, forcing the EU's hand etc) and who represents them in the EU Parliament.
Admittedly, that level of democracy is a level removed, but I don't think...
Just heard Steve Baker describe this as an excellent deal for NI as it effectively allows them the best of both worlds, both the EU market and the GB market. I'm sure our Scottish neighbours will be thrilled for them.
Why would the French purposefully discourage tourism from the UK in their country, which is 10% of their economy and the UK number 1 visitor in terms of number of stays?
Do people really think that France would actively choose to harm themselves because we have left the EU?!
