Self Check Out at the Amex

A dwindling problem, most people are IT literate and touch screens are becoming more and more common place

Self Check Out at the Amex

Yes absolutely, I suppose the answer there would be to align prices of pies, burgers etc coupled with more options for vegetarians, both of these are possible

Self Check Out at the Amex

My thinking is keep staff levels the same and but have more working on cooking and pulling pints, you also pay for a pie' not specifically a chicken one, for example

Arsenal system, as soon as you buy a match ticket you get a smart card which is topped up every time you buy a ticket for the game

A cashless stadium could be rolled out, you could have top up machines where by you insert your season ticket and top up your balance with cash on the concourse.

I was thinking a system driven by the smart cards, you pay first, this prints a receipt, pick up food etc and show receipt to supervisor before exiting catering area. Space would be the issue. The festival system works, problem is I think the caterers are trying to avoid wastage.

Self Check Out at the Amex

Serious Question, would it work and improve the time it takes to get food/drink etc? I decided to buy my second pint before the game yesterday at the stadium rather than the pub in Lewes where i usually stay a bit longer. I started queuing at 2.30 and it took nearly 20 minutes to order a...

The "Sir! Sir!" Text Number And What Happens

Very difficult subject, I sometimes get quite aggitated at games and, I do swear occasionally, think we all have done, if my behaviour did offend someone (Which i very much doubt) I would prefer for someone around me to tell me, I would be mortified to think I was ruining someones day. But...

    Dicker was superb yesterday....

He did play well yesterday. Saying that Birmingham were so deep it gave Dicker the time and space he requires, he won't get that every week. How anyone can say Buckley did well is beyond me his crosses were straight to their keeper and shooting was awful. Wingers are judged on their end product.

Who would win in a sprint......

Butters was faster than Dicker and Painter!

    Squad Profile going forward

A lot of the players that got us out of league one will be released. Additionally no guarantees on Bridge Vicente or Lopez.

Dean Hammond - Will you boo him?

When Hammond left, the club was in dire straights. We only replaced him when we signed Crofts, we lost Crofts, now they are both back, it's fantastic. The fans that never saw Hammonds quality were the same who didn't see what crofts brought first time around. Many of these people have eaten...

Anyone thing poyet is signing players for the short term.

Fishing surely?? Warnock for years has mastered bringing experienced players in their late 20's to gain promotion. Gus has done the same.

    Lack of Englishmen in team

Hammond is English. And let's be honest Mackail Smith, El Abd, Crofts, Barnes, Lua Lua are more English than they are Scottish, Egyptian, Welsh, Polish and Congolese. Add to that 2 Scotsman in Greer and Dobbie and our Spanish contingent, 3 different nationalities of goalkeeper, no I'm not...

Dean Hammond - a bad signing for footballing reasons.

Hammond will be used in a midfield 3 with Crofts and Bridcutt when keeping things solid and as cover for Crofts or Bridcutt when Orlandi, Vicente or Lopez play as part of the midfield three.

    Pick your starting 11!!!

The way I see it is this, the Barnsley game is OUR formation it allows attacking flexibility and defensive cover. So; Kusczak Bruno Greer El Abd Bridge Bridcutt Crofts (poyets number one midfield target) Pick themselves Depending on opposition Hammond or Orlandi will compete for the third...

    Gus Radio Interview

Agreed. A chairman has to place faith in a managers acquisitions, it doesn't mean the chairman would have signed them if he were the manager.

Glenn Murray not in Palace squad / going to Crawley / etc (merged)

Beckford (given his wages) seems unrealistic to me, thus meaning Zamora is even more unlikely. Murray fits the bill, as we could afford him.

Glenn Murray not in Palace squad / going to Crawley / etc (merged)

I am playing devils advocate, i.e maybe Murray has a knock and freedman kept it quiet ala Poyet keeping Vicente's injury quiet (so the opposition set up to counter a player who isn't even on the pitch or Murray is not in the squad because he is set for a transfer

Glenn Murray not in Palace squad / going to Crawley / etc (merged)

surely a fit Murray would make the Palace bench at the very least? no record of him being injured?
