I do not prefer anything. I just like to work with the facts, not assumptions. Many would believe that certain groups do not have black members because let's say they are classed as right wing knuckle draggers etc, the same can apply the other way around. I suppose it depends on where you get your sources from.

There is reporting and there is video evidence. I would assume that the reporting had to be fairly accurate given the nature of the footage.

its not beyond the realms of possibility that this blokes an EDL member but Id say there was more chance of him being a muslim....wouldn't you ?

Based on the EDL form, yes, I would have doubts about this issue, but what ive consistantly said, was, I think its best to wait and see some evidence first....
before the Newcastle demo, the EDL leaderships put out a nonsense story of a 7 year old being raped by a gang of muslims in a school toilet in Luton, in order to
build up their numbers before their demo...the demo before that, the deputy leader was attacked by a 'gang of armed muslims at his house'...also bollocks...so I believe these people are capable of anything....

What extremists do in the name of Islam is horrific, and the vast majority of muslms will agree with that... nobody wants extremists...who does?....I certainly dont. I also judge them. What concerns me, is far right groups pushing for a civil war on our streets against ALL muslims, not just extremists...the same as the two ********s in Woowich wanting to start a war in the UK.

Well, I mentioned 200 attacks on Muslims..that included mosques?...Did the same thing go through my mind? After reading some of the EDL pages, urging people to burn down mosques, well, not really...I doubt if muslims would burn down their own places of worship..

Im sorry, was it required that I denounce extremist muslims? I would have thought that was a nailed on point anyway? Most people do anyway?
What concerned me, was, and ill repeat it again, was that I believed it was not necessarily a muslim who did the graffiti..considering far right groups attempts

I agree with this post but you have come across like you are blaming certain people & trying to come up with theories that rule out other people.

I have a huge mistrust of the EDL, and far right groups, and their motives in Britain...All I was saying was, its easy to jump to a conclusion, when people didnt actually know who did it... and it wasnt and isnt beyond the realms of possibililty that it was done by somebody trying to inflame a situation, and that somebody wasnt necessarily a muslim...maybe I didnt put it across well.
Im not a religious person, and think its all barmy, but Ill respect peoples freedom to religion etc...but im pretty sure most people do not like, or trust extremist Islamic radicals...
but on the other hand, some people seem to identify with the ****ry that is EDL for some reason.

I can't argue with that. Before i get some tit like BH putting in his two bobs worth, i could not have got security clearance if i was a member of certain groups.
So, i shall say it again....until this government and the police clamp down on the radicalisation, the hatred demos of the radicals, and the violence and deaths through bombings 7/7 and the recent butchering.......then the EDL seems to be the only people that are highlighting this. Again i state, thugs or not, how many people have been killed by the EDL....that would be NONE.
When the EDL are no more, then i will know this spineless government have done their job and the peaceful people like the Sikhs, Buddhists etc, that live peacefully and integrate in this country will also be relieved.

Your final sentence seems to imply that all Muslims are violent. The VAST majority abhor what happened last week. There was a Muslim peaceful demonstration yesterday around the war memorial in Newbury, according to our local news, abhorring the violence and expressing support for our troops. The family of one of the perpetrators have publicly apologised for what was done. The "Radical" Muslims are very much in the minority.
