From the angles I’ve seen that ball was 100% out and I’d be in meltdown if it was given against the Albion. However as it knocked Germany out of the WC I am ecstatic, of course it was the right decision.

Including this one?

Martinez has left the Belgium job.

Belgium FA apparently were keen to renew his contract, which ran out at the end of this tournament, but he's chosen to step down and go back to club management.
Clueless, thankfully it won’t be us stumbling along under him

Can we take it to the next frame?

I have no idea why I’m arguing about it, I went to the loo during the VAR review and came back expecting it to be disallowed and came back to find it given. I was delighted but not convinced

The ball was clearly in.
I just want to know whether it was more in than Großs winner against United was over.

The current rule states that the whole of the ball has to be over the line. It looks ridiculous when 97% of the ball is over but, kept in ...but, that's the rule ! It is what it is.
Yes, I know the rule (all of the ball must be over all of the line and all that) and I've seen the pictures that clearly show that according to that rule the ball was in (OK then, not actually out if you prefer it that way!) - but to me, just looking at it logically - and according to the way it was when I played football back in the day - and for a fair few years after that too!) that would be well out!

Ah well, c'est la vie. The world's gone bat-shit mental - but I guess we all know that anyway!

Didn't see the whole game but I wonder whether the GLT was used to determine if the ball was fully across the line or not?

Yep, no different to the fine lines in cricket “no balls“, lbw etc. having said that, I still prefer the good old days of leaving decisions with the on field officials. Technology is ruining our sport. Those in charge know not what they do.

Been out and missed this evening's WC... well on earth can I find highlights etc without waiting till 11.40 on bbc!?! Nothing on ITV x whatsoever - thought I'd be able to play the games from the start or something!?
