It's also fairly pathetic that our regular and occasional support can't be arsed to watch this one. Two hopes of filling Falmer, no hope and Bob Hope. Small town club with small town support.

An old man of 80, providing his postcode from Brighton is unlikely to be a Man City fan. That is pure common sense.

I agree entirely, but when does common sense come into these types of decisions. I was one of the Barnet 300 who were locked out!

we're a joke club, always have been, always will be.....

It still puzzles me how to get on the database. Can't buy unless on the database, can't get on the database unless you buy. Classic catch 22.

My Father, whom is 80, read in the Argus that the Man C tickets were now on general sale so he went on the bus from Patcham to the ticket Office. "Are you on our database?" he was asked. "No." "Have you bought from us before?" "No." "Can't sell you a ticket," came the reply, "I don't know who you are" He offered his postcode and driving licience, but to no avail and ending walking out in disgust. What a club we are.:nono:

Have you actually complained direct to the club, as opposed to putting it on here?

I'm sure they would be sympathetic

On a similar note, anyone have any idea why the Orient JPT tickets aren't for sale via the online method that worked so well for Man City tickets?

Withdean effect I'm afraid. I't doesnt matter who we play down there now I cant be arsed to make the journey down from London. I had a season ticket for 5 years and I HATE it and couldnt think of many things that Id least rather do of an evening than sit in the rain in that dump.

If we were playing in a decent ground where there was a decent atmosphere and relative comfort I would go down there for most games regardless of opposition. You say no chance of filling Falmer but its a completely different proposition. Why would a dad take his kids to Withdean to sit miles from the pitch in the rain in a silent ground? What sort family day out is that?

I'm happy to make the journey to quite a few of the away games due to facilities and I think I get alot more for my money. I know that doesnt help the club much but I'm out till Falmer bar the odd game when Im down that way visiting relatives.

I'm totally and utterly confused by this ... My bro rang the ticket office on Monday and was told in no uncertain terms not to bother faxing in a request as there was no
Chance of getting tickets as it was very. Lose to being sold out and they hadn't processed all apps

Now it seems there are plenty of tickets left

You can get on the database by getting tickets for any other home game this season. The reason the club have restricted tickets to only those on the database is to stop Man City fans from getting tickets in the home end.

In the case of the old bloke mentioned here its not best practice as he's not likely to be either a City fan or cause trouble. Its quite understandable that following the West Ham and Spurs ticket fiascos that the club are trying to make sure tickets are going to people who have been to Withdean or an away game in the last 10 years.

Weren't the names of everyone who applied for a ticket for the playoff Final against Bristol City added to the database?

Fair point.

...yes, but did they delete them at the same time as members of the old away membership scheme, who did not renew, were struck off?
