My Father, whom is 80, read in the Argus that the Man C tickets were now on general sale so he went on the bus from Patcham to the ticket Office. "Are you on our database?" he was asked. "No." "Have you bought from us before?" "No." "Can't sell you a ticket," came the reply, "I don't know who you are" He offered his postcode and driving licience, but to no avail and ending walking out in disgust. What a club we are.:nono:

even though this has been the clubs policy for ages its still pathetic, if tickets go on general sale then they should be available to anyone.
Yet another reason why the ticketing system we have is a complete shambles!

That is very kind of you. I also have three season tickets and will call the TO tomorrow. I will let you know. My Father has actually been to many games but never bought a ticket direct.

Exactly.

May I ask why your username is the same as the manafacturers of white board pens?

Am I very old or does anyone else remember being given Berol pens by the school when they first started being taught how to write joined up?

They were burgundy red from memory, and wrote with blue ink, like a fine felt tip. Course, the posh kids had fountain pens!

I remember them. :)

You can still buy them, actually.

my old man used to be a ST and go to a lot of away games. whenever he comes to withdean nowadays i pick him up a ticket from the shop as he would be at work. therefore he is not on the database, so can not get a citeh ticket. absolute farce.

I think the intention is to prevent City fans from buying tickets, so if you haven't bought a ticket from the club in the last ten years then not going to be lucky this time.

thats been the policy for about 10 years

..so how DO you get on the database then? Surely turning up in person with id is sufficient?

Ticketing is a farce at the Albion.
