i really hope that anyone sticking up for pikeys has a whole community living on their doorstep very soon. Then come back and tell us how great they are.
Yeah, yeah. Not sure who's 'sticking up for the pikeys' here, but some of us are wondering how/why prejudice is so acceptable. So why don't you have a stab at the question bhaexpress is ducking: what's the difference between what you've just posted and how people 'sticking up for' Blacks in Britain in the 60s or how people 'sticking up for' Jews in Germany in 1936 were challenged? Is it that travellers today really are all bad, whereas prejudice in the past was mistaken?
