Why does everyone HATE Dennis Wise?

Some right twats on here.

So the general feeling from Wise dislikers is he was a dirty little git as a player.

WHO GIVES A f*** ?

We don't all lie in a fluffy PC world where everyone works to the rules all the time...get over it! Wise and all the attention it would be would be great. Us against the world !

That said, Slade doesnt deserve to go before christmas

It's his whole persona (not to mention his very limited success as a manager and his ability to leave clubs at will) that make people not want him here. I am sure I'm not alone in wondering why anybody would be interested in him. Without Poyet he's nothing (rather like Clough without Taylor).

Face a fact, he'd be off like a shot if he got a better offer.

Just like Adams did you mean? The only way he'd get a better offer is if he was doing well here, which suits me just fine.

I'm sure if Slade turns it around and does really well if someone came in for him he'd be off like a shot as well.

I don't normaly rant off in public but wtf.

I don't give a fu** if the devil himself came in here and got us promoted. He would have my full backing.

I'm sick to death of watching 2 bob nobodies coming in and doing fu** all.

I sat and watched Navarro and Croft on Saturday and they are probably 2 of the worst midfielders I've seen in 51 years watching the Albion. I think to myself, if Slade thinks this is the answer to our prayers, what chance have we got.

He played Bennet who he has been tracking all summer. Why.?? ffs. He was ok but not my idea of someone you have been after for months.

People say to me "Bennet was ok, Tunnicliffe was ok, "Smith was ok". I dont fu**ing want ok, we had ok at the start of last season. I want a team to be proud of.

Dicker came on and was superb, which we all knew he would be. What really gets up my nose is that if uninformed terrace fodder like me can see it, why the fu** cant Slade and his merry men.

I am utterley sick and tired of watching 2nd raters wearing the stripes.

Dickinson must wonder what the hell he has let himself in for.

And if it wasn't for Fossie, I would be pretty unhappy!!!!

Anyway, I'll be there at Falmer but I can't promise I won't be seriously pisse d off.

Wise/Poyet is the ticket to take us to Falmer and the Championship. Wise has a WINNERS mentality. Bloom is a WINNER. Poyet has the football brains.

Whats no to like. The fact Wise is a c*nt is an asset to me. He will rile the opposition fans and he will piss people off. We need that. Slade is a nice man. Nice gets you nowhere especially in the world of football.

I think Wise would turn us into WINNERS and take us to the Championship and beyond.

In view of the lack of decent candidates and the fact that Slade is a dead man walking lets get the job done next week and start planning for the future success of BHAFC.

Ah because you are so right about Russell Slade yes? I believe it was you who had that absolutely ridiculous signature towards the end of last season? The same one who was saying Slade out then, that Slade couldn't keep us up? For some reason you really don't like him do you.

Just thought I'd chuck my two penneth in!

I would like Slade to turn this around, however at the moment he isnt and I dont go for this the team need to gell....other teams are performing so why arent we?

In my job if I had a team that had f***ed up (ie This weekend and Huddersfield) I as manager would be on a serious reprimand.....I like Slade but I am getting sick of people on Mondays stating things like...Same old brighton again? etc etc

Either get this team performing or leave...Football like any job is a results game....its that simple!

*awaits the normal rose tinted responses*

Don't Mention The War
Things need to improve sharpish, because 11 goals in two games is not acceptable. Espically with us signing 11 new players. Bloom hasn't spent his money to see us be second from bottom and conceding this amount of goals in four games, if we lose to Millwall on Friday night, then the end is nigh.

HE THEN PUT HIM OUT ON THE WING ALONE AND HAD HIGH BALLS PUMPED TOO LONG AND HIGH EVEN FOR A USAIN BOLT (that also went over Leon Knight's head).

Genius! (not you US. ...definitely not you)

Knight was played in the middle a few times but was beaten to the ball by quicker Championship defenders and swatted off the ball like a fly when he did get it. He did not have the pace or skill to get around these better Championship defenders either The little twat was lucky to be offered an alternative role, at which he was equally useless at Championship level. He was a League One player.

The proof of all this is that he was shit at Barnsley in his spell there and has never played above League 1 since and only did that briefly before his freefall.

Knight's best ever season was under McGhee in League 1 and he wasn't good enough for the Championship, you really can't blame McGhee for that (well you can but that's because you are so bitter :lolol:)

I don't doubt that Wise & Poyet could do a good job for us...but would struggle to bring myself to cheer Wise.

He's ex-Chelsea which is bad enough but he was also a whinging whining little maggot of a man....vicious and dirty and certainly not a person I would want involved with our great club.

Sums it up for me. Neither Wise nor Poyet will be appointed by BHA in the real world (a place many NSCers on this thread don't seem to inhabit), but just in case Dennis is reading this and interested in my opinion on the matter: "No thanks Dennis, we don't want you here."

I really dont give a blind fuk who manages this team as long as they are winning, we could have bertie bleedin bassett and I wouldnt give a shit as long as we were winning...

And I do not believe anyone with any common sense would want a manager out who was winning week on week!

I object to Wise in both personal terms - he's not the kind of man I'd prefer to be maanging the club and on professional grounds - I don't think he's very good. And yes, before you say it, he got to a cup final, but they didn't play a Premiership team and clearly Poyet was the brains of the outfit.

Id like to see how many people that don't care who manages us, they just care that we win also rail against diving in the game, hate bad sportsmen like Drogba, can't stand Alex Ferguson etc. There's nothing wrong with having standards you know, football would be in a better place if we all did.

Dandyman

In London village.
Slade proved his abilities last season and I will continue to back him until results convince me otherwise.

In case people have not noticed we are a Division 3 club (in real money) - the likes of sneaky little shitbags like Wise will take our money and then f*** us over at the earliest opportunity.

Who the f*** are you to say that "we" don't want him here? Who is "we"?

The fact is that I for one would love to see him and Poyet in charge of the team. Who gives a f*** about being nice? I want to be proud of a winning team.

Denis Wise is a winner - nobody really ever liked Brian Clough, that is why he never managed England. However, in my opinion, he was the best manager that this country ever had.

True, and if we ever want to be anything more than that, we need a top manager to make it happen. Just like Brian Clough started the glory years last time around.

As I have said before, if Tony Bloom only wants "ok" (like some of our non-leage fans appear to want), then give Russell Slade a bit longer to make the team "ok" - who knows, they may even make the playoffs in a couple of years?

However, if Tony Bloom actually wants to us to reach the Premiership, then, unfortunately, Russell Slade will never be the guy to achieve it - really nice guy that he is!
