The US? They've got good keepers and that's it. Toothless up front and their "star" player is Landon Donovan who has had 12 good games for Everton and completely flopped at Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen. Oh and their main striker is Jose Altidor, who did sod all at Hull.England although Spain are clearly the team to beat.
Best outsider is the US. Potential semi-finalists and it's lucky we're getting them early.
Can't see beyond the big 6, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Italy, England, Spain. France look like a spent force & although an African team may reach QF stage thats about it.
SF: Brazil,Spain, England, Argentina.
Final Brazil Vs Spain

US beat Spain 2-0 in last year's Confederation Cup semi-final and went 2-0 up against Brazil in the final only to lose 3-2. Any team who can do that is pretty useful. Their season has only just begun so they'll be fresh and they are very well organised. They're playing Czech Republic tonight so it'll be a good gauge.
Spain and Brazil were on holiday in that tournament. USA will do well to get beyond the second round. If you think USA can win this then surely England have a better chance. We are clearly better than them.
Lost 4-2 at home last night, to the Czech republic, who didn't even qualify. That's why I said England in my first post!
US will make the knock-out stages and I reckon they will cause at least one, if not two, upsets on the way.
I know this sounds crazy, but I think the USA will win.
