Can't see beyond Spain personally. Suprised so many go for Argentina when they have a cokehead in charge.

Absolutely - the argies are screwed. Any views on dark horses? Mexico (despite the scoreline on Monday) and Chile for me.

I have backed Spain to win it at 4's, Spain V Brazil final at 9's and RVP who is 33/1 to be top scorer with Coral which I believe represents great value.

I think one of the African teams will go very far. And I think despite Maradona being in charge I think Argentina will win it, just because of how they qualified.

I think the surprise package could be Ghana, they will get support from the SA fans once SA are knocked out. Many of their players feature in European leagues, and do well.

The pressure will be too intense for Spain, they will be expected to win it by their own fans and the pressure will be too much for them. They also have a tough draw, possibly Italy in the quarters.

Can't believe Engerland have got nearly twice the votes of Brazil :wozza:

I mean Brazil are normally shit at World Cups aren't they! :nono: No pedigree there

They're not the force they were though IMO. I don't think they'll get to the final, nor do I think they will top their group.

Not that I think England are twice as good mind but i'm not as scared of facing them. I'd rather take them than Span or Holland tbh.

Spain will win it.

That's why I said England in my first post!

US will make the knock-out stages and I reckon they will cause at least one, if not two, upsets on the way.

Fair enough missed the first post. Still can't see the US going far. They will come unstuck in the 2nd round, whoever comes out of the Germany, Australia, Serbia, Ghana group will have to be on top form.

They lost like two games under Dunga in three/four years. They've routinely destroyed Argentina and gone to places like Uruguay and Chile and got impressive wins in qualifying.
They're far from the most exciting Brazil team ever but they are a very, very good side. I make them favourites.

Well we are all entitiled to our opinions that is the beauty of the game, but when we played Brazil in the friendly in Qatar they completely outplayed us, they won 1-0 and missed a pen. I agree we had a shadow side but I expect quite a few Brazilians were rested too.

Against Holland we actually played really well it was 2-2 and we were all over them in the 2nd half (they just couldn't cope with Defoe and Carlton Cole), both Holland's goals were glaring errors by Rio Ferdinand (and another defender whom I can't remember).

I would be far more fearful of playing Brazil than Holland.

As concerns Spain just look at the poll, nearly everyone thinks they are going to win, so will virtually everyone in Spain, think how much pressure must be on the players before they even get on the plane, they will be expected to bring home the trophy. It will, I think be too much to bear.

BWAAAAHAHAHA!

You are having a bubble mate.
Mexico SHOULD have scored 3 against us the other night, and apart from the lanky robot-boy, we were pretty awful.

Not to say that I wouldn't prefer to be wrong, but England :nono:

Oh yeh - that was the game we won 3 - 1? Sorry but after your Elphick comments your opinion matters little to me :dunce:

PS - Spain to win in my head - Engerland just my heart - but we've got every chance.

I can't belive anyone thinks Argentina will win it with the fat cheating drug addict in charge.

Seconded!

My money's on Brazil. Dunga's got them playing a defensive style, so they're very solid at the back, but have the talent going forward to nobble anyone.

QF - Mexico, England, Germany, France, Holland, Brazil, Italy, Spain

SF - Spain, England, Germany, Brazil

F - Spain vs Brazil

Winners - Brazil
