This is an argument for another thread but that's clearly nonsense.

If it's clearly nonsense, then I suggest this thread is perfect for it.

Like NYC , successful people like to live in London because it has some of the top museums, galleries, restaurants, bars etc and some of the brightest minds in the world.

Whilst I agree that London has a lot to offer, how often are the residents off to the museums and galleries, and what difference does it make if some of the brightest minds are there? Do they stop you in the street for a chat?

Restaurants, West End etc, yes.

I think Tony Bloom will be doing his very best to try and steer Moises towards Liverpool.
He won't want a player and agent dictating how he runs his business, and after agreeing a deal with Liverpool he will want to honour his commitment.

Therefore I reckon TB will be delaying showing his hand and make Team Caicedo think he is prepared to not sell him this season.
The result being that the longer it goes on the more chance there is of Moises twitching at the thought of missing out on an immediate massive financial boost. I expect Team Caicedo to blink first.
He'll be having Scouse language lessons before we know it.

*this is all written in hope more than likelihood.

I read your post #6,489, and I replied to it. And you're saying that before I replied to your post, I should have read the later posts #6,503 & #6,512.
1) That's daft.
2) Your post says "I read yesterday any deal above 105m (for any more players this window) and they're in breach of FFP and will get points deduction this season."

But have you read the link you're saying I should have read? It says (bold is theirs not mine) "any punishment relating to losses relative to the PSR Calculation in excess of £105m would be implemented THIS season’.

That's £105m losses this season - not how much they can spend on a player.

Go and sit in the stupid corner.
So, if they were breaking even before buying a player, and then spent 105m on a player, they would be making a 105m loss then?

P.S. You can't send me to the stupid corner as well, as I'm already there (I said Nunez was anonymous when he wasn't actually on the pitch).

I go to a gallery/theatre/museum at least once a week.

I go to restaurants that you wouldn't find in any provincial town at least once a fortnight.

As for brightest minds congregating in certain cities this is just a known fact. Take the front office of an investment bank for example, you have some of the smartest graduates from all over the world move to London. Same for any major industry and the people tend to stick around.

he’s going to Chelsea, I’m sure. Todd and mates will want to ‘support Poch’ and the delivery of young Moises will evidence that.

Should leave us time to get a replacement DCM in and possibly one more. Maybe one for the future like Asprilla,

I think the same but I also think Chelsea are stringing everyone along. They’ve been preparing a bid since May, and the only bids made so far were deliberately low, as they must have known they’d be refused.

Have you noticed he does that a lot. 'I've been told that' or 'No-one has phoned me' etc. Do you think he's making a point?
To be honest I was only listening as I washed the dishes. I don't listen to a lot of managers as often the questions are too irritating and obvious. However my ears pricked up with that question!

His contract should include for the playing career of any kids he has in next 8 years...Chelsea are missing a trick...utter twats 🤣
I'm glad he clarified that from 2031 to 2032 is 'one more season'.

Nothing gets past that geezer. Absolutely NOTHING 🤣🤣🤣

I doubt Galleries and Museums are very high on Moises list of things to do, although Liverpool has plenty of both. I’ve worked in both cities (5 years in Mayfair and 20 in Liverpool’s waterfront) and to be honest preferred the latter.

The £105 million would be amortised over the length of the contract. If the contract is 3 years it is 35 million/year debit, if it is 5 years it is 21 million/year. There is currently no contract so no-one knows how long it is and what effect it would have on FFP.

Any debits for FFP can be offset by credits so if Chelsea get a shirt sponsor, for example, or sell loads of MC shirts; then they have more room to sign players.

In short, the idea that £105 million keeps Chelsea within FFP regs and £106 million takes them over is nonsense.

Do you not feel bad being a token, then?

That's a perfect explanation of FFP. Thanks for taking the time to do it. (y)

There's a reasonably large equadorian community in London. There isnt anywhere else in the country. If you have followed Moises on social media he often visits London with his mum. Funnily enough I've never seen him take a day/weekend trip to Liverpool or Cheshire !!

Well, he was on the bench for most of the game...
On a similar note, Moises was useless yesterday. He was completely absent and anonymous.
