I think youd be spot on there Wozza, Linkin Park? Whats that all about?

Manufactured pop I can live with, but manufactured rock!?! Christ.

And some losers call it punk. It's about as edgy and punk as a Steps cover version.

but....Equally The Verve are one of the most over produced acts of modern pop, they are both as bad as each other.

I like to call 'Linkin Park' 'Fuckin' Shit'. Am I the only person who finds that funny?

Mullers favourite track is the self penned 'Knight Out'. Problem is the needle seems to be stuck and it just keeps repeating itself

Jeez - the list could go on for days. I've listed 5 but there are countless others ....

Harvest - Neil Young
Sgt. Pepper - Beatles
Home - Spearhead
69 love songs - Magnetic Fields
DSOTM - Pink Floyd

'Home' by Spearhead is probably my favourite purchase of the last 10 years or so. I think. Possibly.

if we're talking favourite LP's then I'm presuming you mean Records and not CD albums :D
In that case AC/DC - Who Made Who
Probably the only full length Record LP I owned but its still great :)

Trout Mask Replica - Captain Beefheart...still sounds ahead of its time and it's 35 years old.

Runner-up: What's Going On? - Marvin Gaye

Come on Dwayne, Im not the Verves biggest fan by a country mile but they have produced a few moments of magic. Drugs dont work, Bittersweet symphany and Lucky Man are all quality pieces of music. Linkin Park and all that nu metal shite will be long forgotten in about 2 years time.

You obviously haven't heard Northern Soul.

History is a bit of an 'epic', but nobody who knows anything about music would describe that album as "over produced".

Tee hee. :D

BTW, Having started this thread, I might also add 'Home' by Terry Hall (1994). Very under-rated, and 'Hypnotised' by The Undertones.

Both are quality.
