What's the worst customer service you have ever experienced?

MBNA - double debited my bank account when I paid a credit card bill putting me overdrawn, getting bank charges etc. Took over 6 months before I received the total cost of going overdrawn back.

Managed to "misplace" my letter of complaint three times and delayed making a decision twice.

Needless to say the card was cancelled but I have a Virgin credit card they outsource to MBNA but only use it for work now.

On going nightmare with 'burst your bubble' I had my Iphone insured with them. I lost it abroad and they initially declined my claim due to not having any evidence of a break-in or robbery despite it being lost. I then had to appeal a process that to date has lasted six months. It has been characterized by them losing paper work and requesting it over and over again. When I have tried to telephone them they have given me wrong numbers to contact (including one that did not exist) and despite several emails have failed to update me on the progress of my appeal. Total knob heads anyone else had problems with 'protect your bubble'?
