What, for reacting to a silly post saying should keep Leon above and over McGhee? f*** off.

I am sick to death of theis treachery and disloyalty.

Dick Knight is NOT going to sack McGhee. FACT.
McGhee is NOT going to resign. FACT.
Therefore, by process of elimination, McGhee will be our manager at the end of the season and beyond. DEAL WITH IT.

When McGhee took on this job, he knew he had f*** all resources to work with, yet he took the job in good faith with his eyes wide open. He still has NO resources to work with. Getting Falmer has changed NOTHING. We have lost other good managers as a result of our predicament. But McGhee has hung on and showed loyalty when he could have walked away, especially from the moaning short-termist throw-cash-at-the-problem glory-hunters.

And what does he get for his loyalty? Abuse.

Some people on here should be f***ing ASHAMED of themselves.

Agree completely. How can we throw cash at the problem when we haven't got any cash either.
We have a small squad of players and some great youngsters coming through. We got promotion again when other clubs have sunk like a stone in League 1 and we stayed up last year. Look at Bristol City, Gillingham, Rotherham and Swindon and think where we are now.

I couldnt be arsed to read all this thread but realise this.

On paper, Southampton should have hammered us today.
They didn't. We held them for large periods with youngsters & people playing out of position from an already skinny squad.

They did us proud & we cant ask for more.
We'll stay up if we manage to carry on turning in performances like that.
MM has a hard job on his hands but some of you so called fans are just making things harder...

Get behind him & the lads or f*** off & follow Chelsea :tosser:

The thing that really got my goat was he forfitted the Luton game to get a result at Millwall, how that worked out well.
I really don't think he did. That wasn't a reserve team he put out up there, it just seemed to me that he decided to give El Turi a run out to prove him wrong. Which he didn't.

So you agree that anyone daring to question McGhee is guilty of treachery and disloyalty? Sometimes your blind faith in whoever is manager is quite embarassing, and the same goes for this self appointed judge of all NSC albion fans, TLO. What a crap rant.

Well I can't speak for anyone else, but I feel I know my football. And I back the team 100% when we're in the stadium. But if we can't talk on NSC about the out of position players, the questionable signings, the shit or shall we say "baffling" tactics, the fact that Southampton are pony and we didn't take a point off them, or the fact that we just punted the ball out of defence all through the second half and invited the goal which eventually came, then please direct me to somewhere I can post my own views without towing the line and being labelled a traitor.

McGhee plays Kerry in midfield.
Archer sells our ground.

Spot the difference :p

You're a joke mate :lolol:

You appear to have missed the point. If he is asking a question, it's not "is McGhee as bad as Archer?", it's "should we always accept what we're given or told"?

So no, he's not a joke. Mate.

Thank you. Someone who seems to have got the point, and can debate in a grown up way. Cheers Mate:lolol:

I keep hearing this 'McGhee's done miracles'... what miracles? He's done well granted, but Micky Adams done miracles, Peter Taylor set us up, and McGhee's done well. Certainly aint performed miracles.

Don't forget it was Peter Taylor who walked away because he didn't believe he could keep us in this division without a serious transfer budget.

McGhee has therefore performed better than Taylor believed was possible.

Nope can't see it. What time did you post it, or can you repost it because I can only see one from an hour ago and that don't mention miracles

Sorry Simper, I really doubt you do know much about football with utterly embarassing comments like Southampton are crap and all we had to do is turn up with our reserves and youth teamers and take a point off them. :nono:

We were forced to clear the ball a lot because a superior technical team was putting us under so much pressure. If we had played from through the swift midfield legs of Mayo and Chippy, they would have picked the ball off us at will, we would have got beat 5-1 and then you would have something to whinge about.

Frankly, TLO is very entitled to get impatient with the utterly childish level of debate on here at times.

This evening, we should be united in praise of a performance by our depleted squad full of team spirit and passion in the great, great adversity of ten players out. But instead we still get the same old magoo out rubbish. Pathetic.

Drips, grown ups are talking. Go out in the playground, if all can manage are one line put downs.

Ironic how your come back put down all fits in one line innit :lolol:

Mate, you start a thread informing us all we need a new manager.
I dont agree with you.
You show the worst of impatience & knock a man whos managing at this level with one arm tied behind his back.
You question us 'McGhee Loyalists' with 'What would have happened if we went along with the company line in the past' Then try & back track when the blatant differences are pointed out to you. Utter tosh.

And you insist on calling Leon Leo ... And you weren't even there today and and and

FICKLE!

I back Dick Knight & Mark McGhee...AM I WRONG, YES OR NO?

The vast majority of teams when relegated stay relegated.
We not only went straight back up but got a shed load of money from the playoffs which helped keep us afloat but also stayed in this division.

Again look where Rotherham, Gillingham, Bristol City and Swindon are and then thank your lucky stars we have DK and MM.

I like being embarrassing. I dont see much to quibble about to be honest. McGhee does get it wrong. He is the first to hold up his hands and say I have got it wrong.
What I don't do is pick on every detail of every game and pull it to pieces.
I look at the overall picture and think in general we are doing a good job with what we have.
It isn't blind faith. It is being objective without trying to find fault and reds under the beds.

I am actually quite good at smelling rats and if I thought there was anything really wrong then I would be the first to say so.
That may surprise a few people and I doubt many would believe me.
