somewhere in Eastbourne
when we won promotion via the play-offs it was a miracle and I thought at the time that if we stayed in the championship until at least we had some money to spend eg:- new owner, sponsors connected with the new ground, that would also be a miracle and so far MM has kept us on target, where I am now in wales you have had a manager of cardiff who spent millions(lenny lawrence) and where did that get him.
MM is not a great manager but he is doing a good job with the resources at hand.
I for one will close my eyes and hope we can stay up and hope that some of the younger player start playing out of their skins. :salute:

What, for reacting to a silly post saying should keep Leon above and over McGhee? f*** off.

I am sick to death of theis treachery and disloyalty.

Dick Knight is NOT going to sack McGhee. FACT.
McGhee is NOT going to resign. FACT.
Therefore, by process of elimination, McGhee will be our manager at the end of the season and beyond. DEAL WITH IT.

When McGhee took on this job, he knew he had f*** all resources to work with, yet he took the job in good faith with his eyes wide open. He still has NO resources to work with. Getting Falmer has changed NOTHING. We have lost other good managers as a result of our predicament. But McGhee has hung on and showed loyalty when he could have walked away, especially from the moaning short-termist throw-cash-at-the-problem glory-hunters.

And what does he get for his loyalty? Abuse.

Some people on here should be f***ing ASHAMED of themselves.

Couldn't be bothered throwing good money (season ticket) after bad (Southampton away) so didn't see today's match. But re: Joe Gatting excitement, let me guess, he's quick, scores loads in reseves but is only 5ft 2", more likely to promote Mr Muscles ads rather than Nike and will be farmed out to Forest Green before staring in a brief career at Rushden? Just a hunch!! :lolol:

bit grim innit. Had a word with Dick Knight after the match he looked and sounded pretty pissed off, there were more Brighton fans than Saints in the corporate bit and he had quite a crowd at the end when he sat with the fans, Norman Baker came in for a fair amount of abuse!

To "The Large One".

Your right Mcghee has performed miracles.
It was a miracle he hadn't noticed Millwall made 3 substitutions.
It was a miracle he didn't notice they changed their formation.
It was a miracle that he made no attempt to combat their formation change.
It was a miracle that the only sub he made was striker for striker.
It was a miracle that he picked that team against Luton.

May I suggest a bit of respect for other peoples opinions. Lets face facts, there is reasoned arguments on both sides!

on the few occasions were mcghee has made a mess of things he has admitted it. surely honesty is a good thing. he said the result against millwall was down to him. as long as he dont make too many mistakes i think he is doing ok. who on this board really expected us to go to southampton today and win? not me. but with a weakend team and a few young ones getting a little experiance we came away with a close defeat in which a lot of peoples promotion favorates (start of season) sneeked in the last 5 mins. unlucky mcghee and keep blooding the young ones through i say.

The thing that really got my goat was he forfitted the Luton game to get a result at Millwall, how that worked out well.

Whats the point of being bold if you get it wrong?

With such a small squad we need boldness - remember the famous saying "He who dares wins". Some of you lot would still be playing Peter Ward rather than make any change.:D
