Oh wait, that was a sensible post. And I agree, if it's "Gigli" that you're talking about.

Performance - with Mick Jagger and James Woods. A tedious affair.

Metropolitan - recentish film set in London, "clever" hand held camera and just a pile of sh@t!

True, but the plane crash scene at the beginning had me positively SHITTING MY PANTS.

I don't like flying.

The one in Castaway was just a tad scary too:eek:

For me it's a tie between 80s cheesy Latino flick LAMBADA
Are you referring to La Bamba ? Cos I quite liked that. Los Lobos with the catchy title theme too, good stuff.

I'm a bit worried that LOADS of the films mentioned on this thread are in my DVD collection.

The Crying Game.
It was supposed to be a landmark in British cinema or something.
Twenty minutes into it I turned to my mate & enquired "is it me or is this film utter b@ll@cks?"
"It's not you, it's the film , it's b@ll@cks" he reassured me.
There are, ofcourse, films that are so bad they're almost good.
"The Fast and the Furious" goes into that category. "Roadhouse", the Steven Seagull vehicle, is another example.

OK, the films on this thread you are all dissing, that I own are:

Deep Blue Sea - well, I quite like it. Specially when Saffron Burrows strips to her white undies.
Jeepers Creepers - crap, I'll admit. It wasn't me who bought it though.
From Dusk Till Dawn - I love this film. Clooney is excellent, Tarantino is weird, Hayek is nearly naked.
The Fast and the Furious - brainless entertainment. Great on the Surround Sound.
Attack of the Clones - bit of a let-down, but still quite good if you forget it's supposed to be Star Wars
Independence Day - irritating "America Saves the World - Again" stuff, but I just can't help but like it.

Daredevil was truly terrible, made worse by the fact we only bought it for someone else but watched it at the insistance of my Aussie female boss who constatly interrupted with questions like "Is he a goody or a baddy", "what happened then?" and "so she's dead - right?".

Malibu's Most Wanted - one joke racist shit.

However the dullest, most pointless and self indulgent pieces of wank I've ever watched was 12 Monkeys. Utter bollocks.

I have to defend two named films as two of my favourites though.

From Dusk Till Dawn is brilliant.

And Withnail and I is probably in my all time top 10. I demand to have some booze!

Definately agree on Independence day - Only film I have ever turned off!

Its also still the only film I have left before the end. Too cheesy for my liking.

Another vote for Independence Day - shockingly bad, stupid and lazy.

Or failing that I'll nominate either The Draughtsman's Contract by Peter Greenaway or Last Year In Marienbad. The very worst in empty, pretentious art-school wank.
