As I alluded to earlier though, in a flippant aside about the Ryder Cup, its clear to everyone (except those that prefer not to see it) that Kippers don't see Germans and let's say Romanians as the same kind of foreign.

Obviously you're basing your view on the two kippers that you know but from my perspective there is no difference.

Nothing I see in the press, watch on TV, or read from pro-UKIP types on here has ever done anything to challenge that view, to be honest. I'm pretty comfortable with my view that a significant % of UKIP supporters have unpalatable opinions on matters of race. You only have to look at the nationalist parties from where these people came. In fact you'd be a fool to deny it - and I don't have you down as a fool.

He's campaigning on a principal and he's doing completely the opposite of what he claims to his principles. Very different from a speed limit .

As an observation, if you're interested in voting UKIP you really should know about his wife's position and what implications this has on his integrity. Just reinforces my opinion of Ukippers.

OK Mr Labourite, what about the Red Ed's claiming that he will deal with high energy prices and that they are the suppliers fault but conveniently forgetting he was instrumental in introducing the green taxes that are a good percentage of the price we pay. He has integrity doesn't he ? Or do you only hold UKIP to a higher level of scrutiny ?

So, based on this, how comfortable are Labour right now? Are they DEAD certain to smash the GE and march forward to no10?

I cannot speak for the party but I'm still confident Miliband will be PM come next May.

I'm not in the least a supporter of labour and haven't been since about 3 years into Blair's first term. No, I vote labour for the simple fact I and my family are wealthier under a labour government.

Mr Milliband will be in number 10 this time next year, UKIP will pack up their 1 ring circus and disappear back to rinsing the Taxpayer for all they can and speaking in church halls, Cameron and his pack of Bullingdon louts will spend the next 10 years whining that they were only trying to sort out the mess Labour made and Clegg will walk away shaking his head wondering what on earth was the point of him turning up to work the last 4 years.

You only have to look at the nationalist parties from where these people came.
.....and on the evidence of last night's voting, many of them come from that hot-bed of racism, labour voters.

Farage has clearly been a massive bell end on this issue and the hypocrisy is outstanding. Do as I say and not as I do is as old as the hills though. Robin Smith (RIP) slagged Tories off for sending thier kids to private school while Blair as PM did the same, Andrew Mitchell invested in a company which avoided tax but saw no shame in slagging off, you've guessed it, tax dodgers. The Lib dems backed the bedroom tax and immediately said it was a bad idea. Hypocrisy is part of the job description.

In Farage's case, if we take this to its logical conclusion if UKIP were in power, he would have to sack his wife. It's almost worth voting for them just for that.

Ha! Yep! They are all as bad. I'd actually love for UKIP to be given one year in power. You'd never see them again after that.

Can't really argue with that, sadly

.

1. Very little evidence that there was any significant leak of labour votes to UKIP. A lot of complacent no-shows, that's all. Down 5000 voters, because of the low turn-out, not because they've all suddenly switched allegience.

2. Sorry - what I previously wrote was ambiguous - when I said about the 'nationalist parties they came from' I meant the people IN UKIP rather than their new voters.

The sadist in me would like to see it, but I'd hate to see the state of the country once they've had their turn.

Ok so on that basis, what view do you have on people that would be better off with controlled immigration? I am in the building trade and believe me it is no myth that the influx of cheap labour and trades is effecting me!
Can I have a say in the situation? and vote for a party that I feel might help me? or do I become a racist, thicko, bigot or any other cop out name under the sun?

I am for an Australian system of controlled immigration but if people think UKIP are the party to achieve that they are mistaken. None of the existing parties will do it.

Speaking with regards to the Kippers that I've come into contact with personally, I'd say with confidence that they are quite content with the Ryder Cup team, as it doesn't contain any really foreign foreigners.

Germans (like Farage's own WIFE), French and Swedes aren't proper foreign.

Oh that's ok I was worried Hansy. Thank god we don't have any black or Muslim golfers good enough to qualify then.

Might as well go the whole hog dumbing down route and form a GB Bake Off party. Would get 13 million votes.

I listened to a 40 minute speech by Mary Berry at my daughters graduation at Bath university when she was given an honorary degree. I'd fight with all my worth to keep any bakers out of government after that Tom I can assure you.
