Hang on...are you comparing UKIP to fighting Nazism?

Given that they are seeking to give the British people the opportunity to determine their own future, I would see that as progressive and liberal. In the context of a vote on the EU I think UKIP are the most trustworthy party..........all the other main parties have offered it, none have delivered it.

The alternative is to continue as we are bound to a political construct that nobody has ever voted for that chooses its executive and decides on policy and law without any democratic mandate by the British people.

I wouldn't compare the EU to the nazis, however the fight against nazi tyranny in WW2 was essentially a fight that the British people had to wage to remain independent.

We are not independent now..........I don't recall any politician advocating shit light bulbs or under powered vacuum cleaners..........do you?

It is too much to ask for from people who are so alarmed that people who disagree with them may in fact be winning the argument (or the elections) that they resort to prejudicial stereo-typing and demeaning name-calling. 'Kippers' is the latest such word to be used for name-calling.

As in: "You won't agree with me so I'll call you a Kipper, assuming without any evidence at all that you are a rabid right-wing racist homophobic Daily Mail reader". Pathetic............

..but, doesnt that sort of reaction come from numerous examples from party members (senior), and supporters talking rabid, right wing racist, and homophobic twaddle?

OK Mr Labourite, what about the Red Ed's claiming that he will deal with high energy prices and that they are the suppliers fault but conveniently forgetting he was instrumental in introducing the green taxes that are a good percentage of the price we pay. He has integrity doesn't he ? Or do you only hold UKIP to a higher level of scrutiny ?

Milibland introduced green taxes so that the UK would meet the EU targets of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

No, actually it doesn't. I refer you to my post: It comes "from people who are so alarmed that people who disagree with them may in fact be winning the argument".

I have absolutely no idea why you felt the need to bring WWII into it then to make that point. Great proof of someone unable to make a point without muddying it completely and I wasnt the only one to read that way either.

I will spell it out for you then.

If the embittered supposed liberal minded launch attacks on UKIP voters as elderly uneducated white working thickos (see post 54) then surely in that constituency there will be many people who served in ww2, or whose relatives served and died in ww2.

A generation normally that is usually lauded for their fortitude and sacrifice, yet for those exercising their democratic right then for some on this board they aren't worth a light. Lest we forget? I should coco.

thats fair enough, but he's then spent most his time as leader claiming he will doing something to reduce peoples energy bills. he is directly responsible for policies that add hundreds of pounds to peoples bills.

For a party that many stated a while back had no chance in anything, would not win any seats etc.....now after the Euro elections and this eh.
Still obviously no chance, but these UKIP threads that really catch a lot of posts, nothing to worry about
