We certainly have each other on ignore.
But as in the present thread, I am well aware that he is a busy and active poster from all the replies, quoting and mocking his guff.
Luckily the guff is not visible to me.
The replies often make me laugh however.
Which is nice.

I am assuming Potty has me on ignore because it is months since he has give me an oh-so hilarious 'ironic' thumbs up.

Back to Dingo, so many replies to him in this thread, and their content seems to suggest the political thread troll has lost his tiny mind.

President Donald Trump appointed Rod Rosenstein as Deputy Attorney General, who then appointed Robert Mueller as Special Counsel to investigate possible Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. The completed report was handed to Attorney General Bill Barr.

All of the above happened during President Trump's first term of office, and from his Department of Justice.

So what? how does that lead to not being a corrupt affair? The thing was a set up by the FBI, Rodstein appointed "operation Mockingbird" Muller to investigate fabricated claims.

Either you are claiming Trump stitched himself up? Eh? or how is your claim relevant to the actual inquiry being a Hoax?

What are you dribbling on about? You are the one claiming that the report was a hoax, I have merely pointed out the very obvious flaw in your reasoning.

The door or a women's public toilet isn't some magical forcefield that predatory men can't get through. If a man wants to rape a woman in a public toilet they don't need a pair of high heels, years worth of hormone treatment and invasive surgeries to do so

Having worked with numerous members of the trans community in various support working situations I can tell you that without exception they find every trip to a Public toilet an incredibly stressful and nerve shredding experience, and just want to get in and out without being noticed. Every single woman you or I know will have been in a women's toilet with a trans woman without knowing it on countless occasions. Have any women that you know been abused by a trans woman in a public toilet?

The alternative is, of course, to insist on people who present as female using male toilets.

Ultimately I just don't think this is anywhere near as straightforward as people like.

The problem is that there are two sorts of people with this demand the right to use women's toilets. One is transgender women born a man, and there is little or no problem with them using women's toilets. The other is men who are perverts and want (for whatever reason) to use the women's toilets.

As it stands, or stood until recently, if a women was goijng into the women's toilets and an obvious male followed her in, she could turn round and tell him to get out. If certain lobbies have their way, she won't be able to do that. That is the problem.

The primary reason for separating women and men in such places is not to protect women from all men - just to protect them from the evil men. Opening the door from the evil men is not (IMO) a price worth paying for the sake of trans women who don't look like women.

Like many things I firmly believe that social media has thrown a colossal spanner into this "argument"

Trans people aren't some brand new phenomena. In some capacity people have been blurring the lines of gender for hundreds of years and even medically the first gender affirming surgery was not far off a hundred years ago

Even recently back when people actually regularly watched Soaps, one of our most beloved characters was a trans woman, with her wedding being one of the most watched episodes of anything in the 00s.

Likewise back when Big Brother was HUGE, their second most watched series in the shows history was won by a trans woman- voted for by the public. I simply don't remember any controversy about it at all

social media has removed people's ability to see beyond black and white on this issue- with a vulnerable minority at the center of it

The primary reason this has blown up is because of two (in particular) issues that have not been issues before.

One, the issue that started it all off, is women's refuges. Certain people, eg. Joanne Rowling, believe that biological women who are frightened of biological men should be able to have safe spaces where biological men are not allowed. Certain other people, eg. Emma Watson, are determined that biological women who are afraid of biological men should not be allowed those safe spaces.

Two, sport. Again, the trans lobby is determined that sports should be segregated on social grounds, nothing to do with the fact that biological women have a significant size and strength disadvantage over biological men.

To many people (me included, fwiw) the "trans lobby" views on these two issues are not only stupid, but dangerous. If the trans lobby stopped pushing for those, they would have a better chance that other people would stop pushing back.

Funny how this issue always comes down to talking about males being in female spaces, and nobody ever talks about females being in male spaces as a problem. Why is that do you think?
