She has clearly broken the ministerial code. She’s used her public professional influence to attempt to advantage her private life.

It’s binary. She’s broken the code.

Feed her to the badgers .

Could be the opportunity for Sunak to ditch her. Blame the poor behaviour rather than his weakness as not previously firing the nasty piece of work for being a, er, nasty piece of work!
Is there another person of colour who hasn't got skeletons in the closet to take over that role? He could promote kemi badenoch.

Obviously has to be a person of colour to preside over their racist agenda otherwise they are full on BNP

What new madness is this?🤔.

I can't quite get my head round it! Are we accelerating our race to have a 3rd world infrastructure? Just days after network rail announced that due to rising cost, reliability eat going to 'get worse'.

The DfT response includes this gem - 'it is unfair to continue asking taxpayers to foot the bill'.

But what can he actually do?

It does make you think that some food producers have used Brexit, Covid and even the Ukraine as excuses to raise prices without taking any blame.

The cost of Covid isn't effecting anything much anymore Lenny (other than the increased debt) and certainly not food prices. There's only two significant drivers left behind the increases now, and if you think it's currently bad, wait until the new import rules actually get implemented in October (if they're not delayed for a fifth time).

It's funny that the article you have quoted makes absolutely no attempt to understand the reasons behind the food inflation. After years of warnings I really struggle to understand how anyone could still be surprised at the increases in costs of food, although of course the Ukraine war wasn't self inflicted and has added to the problem.

And of course, there is one blindingly obvious thing that he could do to cut food inflation immediately

Bath, Somerset.
If/when she's sacked or resigns, she'll claim that she's the victim of a witch-hunt by the "Cultural Marxist liberal Establishment" and the "Guardian-reading, Tofu-eating, Wokerati"

Send her the f*** to Rwanda and forget the silly moo ever existed.

We could send her there to oversee the natives, like in the good old days of the Raj. Make sure they don’t get uppity.

Whoops. Braverman has a hidden past

Someone is now leaking this stuff.

The Nat C’s speech was the straw that broke the camel’s back for Rishi. He wants her out. It’s time to clean out her cupboards of all the skeletons.

The fact that she has made so many enemies is going to help the PM’s cause immensely but as other have stated, he still needs to find an ethnic minority (preferably female) replacement to make his gammon-baiting immigration policies sound moderately acceptable.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they blacked up Reece-Mogg.

it about being seen to do something. producers and politicans across Europe having the same meetings. one report this morning about pasta in Italy, inflation 16-17% causing a bit of a fuss. general response back is, yes the prices of wheat have fallen but the product sold now was made months ago with the higher input costs. funny how the prices went up so quickly when presumably the stock had been made cheaper then.

It's the rocket-feather analogy again.

Which begs the question 'why did he bring her back in the first place?'

If Diane decided to cross the floor....it would square the circle, in a government of all the talents.
