I never said any of that, so you can stop being such a patronising git for starters.
I merely meant that perhaps the club do not intend to do any business at all.

Indeed.

Unlike the time we put players on 6 year contracts and had the highest wage bill in England in a desperate attempt to stay in division 1. That went well.

It appears that the club is playing the long game with regard to getting us into the top 10 in continuing to buy and develop unproven younger players. Let's be honest, it's the only way we will ever get truly top-class players to the club as we just don't have the ££ to compete with the big boys. For example, Palace would never have been able to buy Zaha, and we would never have been able to buy Lewis Dunk.
There me always been under the impression Palace signed Zaha from Manchester United

Not sure about the highest wage bill in England but I do think we had a player on a 10 year contract, Steve Foster?

I would love us to sign a decent striker but if we don’t and we do end up getting relegated I’ll be gutted. However I can think of a fan who will be far far more gutted than me and considerably out of pocket.

I am not 100% convinced that signing a striker will mean survival any more than not signing one means relegation. Lots of twists and turns to come whatever happens or doesn’t in the last few days of the transfer window.

More gutted than gutted?, that's difficult to achieve. There are no degrees of guttedness.

How much is it per letter for players names on shirts these days?

Frighteningly expensive, that's why, if he were playing today, I'd be desperate to sign Ian Ure. Can anyone else remember the Arsenal centre vack of the 1960's with the same ball playing skills as our very own Colin Hawkins?

I don't we will bring anyone else in and we will have to deal with what we have and potter will have to change the way we play and not be so predictable and easy to play against

4pm today....

...is just one of the times at which we won't sign anyone in this window. Because we aren't signing anyone in this window.

No he didn't.

You've misunderstood the unfunny 'joke' Naylor was making.

I saw the tweet, realised it was a 'joke', but still didn't understand what AN was joking about?

Just that "GM" had said something on a rangers tweet.

The joke was that "GM" was Glenn Murray, not whoever it really was.
