It's character building. I was stood at the front in 2000 when we beat Leyton Orient 2-0 at Brisbane Road, when Bobby Zamora scored in front of us and celebrated right in front of me. To say I was crushed is a massive understatement, I was trampled! I know it's a bit different, considering it was terracing.. but the principle is the same. It SHOULD be safe to take kids to football. Why shouldn't it be family day out. Have some respect for other people.. Surely you can "celebrate" without being a complete idiot and not giving a shit about anyone else around you. Why ruin everyone else's day.

By adults you must mean 18 plus? In that case, I'd say 60%.

There is no family stand at away games. If you want to take your toddler, the place you want to go is the FRONT, that is where things do NOT go mental. Sorry, but these kids went along with their dad and ended up getting terrified because some fully grown man thinks it is acceptable to turn into a neanderthal because we scored a goal.

2 min later after we scored, he started a song 'It just like watching Brazil..'

To be fair, knowing that generally people do go a bit mental in away ends in football, is it really wise to bring a toddler? It's not as if they are old enough to appreciate it ..

Passion for your team makes you celebrate a goal like a mad man. The same passion means that you want to bring your children to important football matches. The difference is that parents have a duty of safety - and the away end today was never going to be a good place for very small children.
