How depressing it will be if Knight signs for QPR. :nono:

We should of signed him permanently in pre season.

I don't think we really had that option as the two-month loan period was what he wanted to.

He wanted to check us out as much as we wanted to check him out... if he leaves, says a lot for what he thinks of us!

Oh what fun, I pop out for an hour and all hell breaks loose. To be fair I read the article on QPR's website and it didn't read like Ian Holloway is overly confident in signing Leon Knight. Knight has said several times that he'd like to sign permanently for US, and hopefully the crowd reaction to him yesterday, together with the Albion's legendary team spirit will be enough to convince him. Fingers crossed eh!!

:)

if he goes to QPR and its his own decision then good luck to him, but why did he celebrate the way he did?

I seriously doubt the clubs ambition in signing players though, I reckon we're going to be sidwelled again.

still we got 6 points with his help . . .thanks

loyalty isnt in the dictionary when footballs the topic :nono:

Would Leon want to miss out on playing with Kanchelskis though. If I was Leon that is something I'd love to do, just think of the scoring opportunities he'd get!!!

God, just when things were getting better. Please no. If this keeps happening, Coppell will probably be next to go.:censored:

Oh do behave.

The fact that Coppell got Leon in and we are competiting for his signature is good.

Whenever you look at a good player you'll face opposition.

Coppell is the key. Knight has already said he reckons SC is the best manager out there. If Sir Steve was contracted to us for a couple of seasons, there would be no question who Leon would sign for - the fact SC's contract is only for a year - who knows what Leon will do?

Not the real one
Mate of mine sent me this email earlier, Still trying to work out the source of it though, he hasn't got back to me. Still it must be true, he couldn't have written this, he has the spelling ability of FG.

Just a bit wierd this came out today if QPR were supposed to be interested BEFORE us. Why didn't this come out last week?

Here's the story:

QPR chase Chelsea striker

Queens Park Rangers have launched a bid to sign Chelsea's highly-rated
striker Leon Knight.
The 20-year-old had a loan spell at Loftus Road in 2001 and is currently
on loan at Brighton, who have also made him an offer.
Both Second Division clubs have agreed a deal with Chelsea for his
permanent signing and a decision now rests with the player.
Knight held talks with QPR manager Ian Holloway on Tuesday morning and is
now considering his future.
He scored both goals as Brighton beat an understrength QPR side 2-1 at the
Withdean Stadium on Monday.
But Rangers' bid to sign him began before then.
Holloway made his move for Knight after selling midfielder Richard Langley
to Cardiff last week and had hoped to have him on board by the time his
side faced Steve Coppell's men.
Knight was once tipped as a future replacement for Gianfranco Zola at
Chelsea.
But he has been unable to establish himself in the first-team at Stamford
Bridge, and as well as his spells with Rangers and Brighton, he has been
loaned to Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday.
