yes you're probably rightI think ultimately the national league is their ceiling, they would struggle to compete in that league IMO.

I've always thought the border is Bognor, which is full of Pompey, I know a lot of our away fans who hail from Worthing. The most I know are from Hove. To be brutally honest I know the least amount of people from Brighton in our away support.Anyone recall Goldstone north stand when Worthing fans would gather one side and Eastbourners the other and charge each other sometimes? I wonder how many Albion fans are from Worthing area? Is there a study anywhere that's been published how many Albion's fans are in each town area? I seem to recall long way back we had lots of fans in Horsham area. When I travel to Falmer from LA there are certainly far more BHA thank Port5cumouthy fans if we ever play at home on same day.
Rebel Yell do live match day commentary usuallyAnyone know how I can listen (or watch) Worthing vs Braintree online?
Even for the NLS, they need to put 4 more in in the next 2 years. If they go up, they'll need a total of 8 for the ground.National league would be an amazing achievement for Worthing, and there is a chance they could do it, so I'll be getting behind them starting tonight. In the long term the ground would need to change, but they have put in a second turnstile entrance, together with the facility to segregate if requested/required. Reckon if they make it, crowds could be up to around an average of 2000, and there are plenty of sides in the NL with lower averages than that. If they make it, It'll come down to whether the finances are available for the playing squad as to whether they could sustain that level. It'll be fun finding out though.
Commentator did say Sunday initially I'm sure as I typed that then later a couple of times said Saturday so I edited my post above. If you are going that way definitely check what day and KO; commentator last said he thinks its 3.30pm ko on Saturday!Worthing 1-0 Braintree Town (Rodari, 2')
Worthing 1-1 Braintree Town (Reynolds, 9')
HT: Worthing 1-1 Braintree Town, Attendance: 2,678
Worthing 2-1 Braintree Town (Sims, 56' og)
FT: Worthing 2-1 Braintree Town
Congratulations to Worthing, commiserations to Braintree, the Rebels will head to Oxford City on Sunday.
I am living in Bognor and know of at least 5 Brighton fans but as you say the majority are presumably Pompey although I think I have seen more London based team shirts being warn in the town.I've always thought the border is Bognor, which is full of Pompey, I know a lot of our away fans who hail from Worthing. I'd hope you would see more Brighton fans, given all the Portsmouth fans should be travelling in the opposite direction. When I travel to Falmer from LA there are certainly far more BHA thank Port5cumouthy fans if we ever play at home on same day.

Bloody plastics2,678 in attendance. Must be tight!
According to Google that ground can hold 4000…. Maybe if it was an anorexia convention.2,678 in attendance. Must be tight!
YesIf promoted are Wothing able to continue using 3G pitch
Yes, same as Lewes. The ground capacity is 3000 or something but in effect you can only have 2500it's apparently around 4,000 but I've been in crowds of about 2,200 and it was absolutely rammed. I reckon 2,500 is realistically the limit of what it can actually accommodate
