NO NO NO !. He has a legitimate point. This sort of smug attitude is driving thousands of fans away from the club.

used to go all the time...27 years man and boy but under wilkins it has been total and utter poor football

So you didn't see the game tonight and yet you pass judgement - brilliant

Well, i can tell you i WAS there tonight, after fannying about after a cheap ticket all afternoon - eventually giving in and buying from the club.

I regret that decision now, and i WON'T be doing the same next Tuesday night. It doesn't matter now - there's no hope of us doing ANYTHING, and if we're going to enter games with the 'draw will do' mentality from now until the end of the season, then i really think crowds could drop below 4000.

I go each week, i do more away games than i miss - i'm an 'addict'. But i've finally had enough, and i'm not the only one. It's games like tonight that make the prospect of 16000 empty seats at a new stadium a realistic one.:(

Oh well, you won't need to fanny about for a cheap ticket next week 'cos you can get one for half price, seeing as you went tonight. I've already got mine :)

I personally guarantee goals next Tuesday 'an all. Just have a look at Tranmere's goal difference compared with Cheltenham's. Tonights game was always gonna be a bit of a stalemate, surely ?

Go to bed mate. Things might look brighter in the morning. :ascarf:

So if Dean Wilkins went with the lets go for broke attitude and we got hammered then you would be happy would you?.

I was there, so i am not really sure what game you were watching. Did we not get the ball in the back of the net, even though it was disallowed.

I thought that we did well in containing a team that are going for promotion. Would you be saying this if Nicky Forster had scored or Kerry Mayo had scored in the last minute?. Poor old Dean Wilkins. He gets balmed if we lose and gets blamed if we draw?.:glare:

Also we did not do ANYTHING for 36 years until we got promoted 3 times in 4 seasons?.

I'm a fan who's sick and tired of paying good money to watch negative, crap football. I was happy with our signings in the transfer window - i'm just not happy with a) the way we go about playing football, and b) the management.

You're right, i'll without doubt be back if we start winning again. Hell, i'll be back if we start playing good football again. Or if we start CHALLENGING again. If the only thing we're playing for is mid-table, then there's no hope.

With the current set-up, we look a decent side about once every two months. I can't justify paying a small fortune in the hope of catching us on one of the rare good days. There's no clarity, there's no consistency. It's just repetetive, dire and dull football. I can't take any more of it for the moment.

Anyway, even if we had signed Ronaldo in the transfer window, i'm sure Wilkins would have waited until the 84th minute before bringing him on....:jester:

The game was utter shite, both teams were woeful, were you there or did you just see the result on ceefax.

I was there, so bad luck with the cheap shot. It was not a good game. So what?

Did you see Chelsea vs Liverpool at the weekend? I bet you would have exploded if you were Liverpool fan.

No one expects us to win every game, I'd like to thing a lot of the Albion fans are quite realistic - However playing for a nil nil draw in front of our home fans when we are supposed to be going for promotion doesn't install confidence.

So Forsters run that nearly went in was playing for a 0 - 0 draw was it ?

I wasn't there but listening to the commentary it sounded a dour affair. Tranmere seemed to be content in taking a point home with them. When OGH came on I thought thats good , as Bowditch will play up front with Fozzy with OGH in midfield , no such luck. Mayo came on to replace Butters was tactical as Greenacre had just replaced Zola. I would have thrown on Jakey for the last 10 minutes and taken off Tiny to inject something new but now I get the impression this current side wont make the playoffs because the spark has gone.

I wasn't there so am not going to complain about tonights performance. I only mentioned about playing for a nil nil as that is plainly obvious what has happened from most peoples reports on here.

This really does paint a very clear picture that a huge majority of "fans" who want changes do not actually go to games.

Some do and fair comment but can we really be swayed by those that do not attend ?

They're wrong. trust me. It wasn't a good game and there wasn't an abundence of scoring opportunities, but without doubt no-one was playing for a nil-nil draw.

I thought the Subs were very odd. Maybe Wilkins is having a go back at Dick Knight's interference, by giving Hart & Mayo little Cameos so they pass their contarct apperances and get new contracts. I'll be watching with interest over the next couple of weeks

Hang on, this is one of the few home games I've missed so far this season. Please don't tar me with the same brush as the people who don't attend games and still call for change. Like I said I won't comment on this game but a fair few I've been to have been pretty poor. Usually with negative substitutions or ones that have been made half hour too late.
