So, all the unhappiness with Labour, Labour vote 'tanking', Starmer clueless and out of his depth, blah-de-blah.

And yet....

Interesting Kemi Badenoch isn’t beating any of them, must be worrying for her team

Also Ed Davey ahead of Farage is encouraging

The Tories fed billions of subsides in the direction of Drax. Finally a move in the right direction.

Burning Canadian woodchip ain't green...

And yet, when he was polling really poorly, I was told by Labour supporters to ignore YouGov polls because of their small sample size and because of the amount of time until the election, and many other reasons.

As a political agnostic with no party, this would appear to be incredibly hypocritical and cherry-picking the results we like and rubbishing the ones we don’t.

The same thing happened when I pointed out Trump would win the election.

Well I want Labour to come good, actually. I just want what’s best the country and don’t care who is in charge to provide that (within reason - I don’t want a fascist government).

Was just pointing out how incredibly hypocritical people can be when it comes to politics. 3 months earlier rubbishing literally the same source as unreliable, but when the numbers are in their favour using them as “proof”.

I can't recall ever personally dismissing Yougov polls. You must be mixing me up with someone else. We're not all homogeneous.

4 years to a GE

To be honest Labour need to ignore the polls, f**k the non-dom media and Burberry faux farmer Farage

Lots of rebuilding to do, until we're a year out chill...

Huge demolition job on Rachel Reeves' CV on BBC lunchtime news today

So ridiculous that a Labour minister should be hauled over the coals by the right-wing media for very minor work-related misdemeanours made years ago in the early part of their career.

When the Tories were in power this sort of thing was never even bothered with. People were rightly more concerned with their ongoing criminality and incompetence.

Does look like a hatchet job

It was a 0.1% growth for the quarter overall, with a -0.3% start in Oct/Nov but 0.4% growth in December.

Bear in mind her first Budget was 29 Oct 24, with most expenditure for November committed before then.

Analysts were expecting worse. Given the circumstances this is a reasonable outcome, but I maintain without a Customs Union we will not have the higher tax revenue to turbo charge the economy.

It's telling that they are coming out with an embellished CV from 20 odd years ago and the fact that Starmer was working on Xmas Eve, shows there is little to attack them with.

Obviously the WhatsApp group thing is poor and very bad taste though.
