NHS workers were dying, wearing bin bags for protection and you accuse them of having house parties?

I know you like a wind up but that isn’t funny. Over 800 died in the first few months.

Are you actually saying that none did? They are human beings like the rest of us. All worked amazingly hard, most followed the rules, no doubt some didn’t. Doctors and nurses are known as some of the hardest partying people, you did know that?

Not in the hospital though thinking the rules didn't apply to them. Neither were they making them.

That's the point.

Hospitals have incredibly strict regimes even now. I have to go down 11 floors to use a toilet, my ears are red raw from all day mask wearing.

To think that somehow there are parallels with what nurses and doctors were hypothetically doing outside of work with what Westminster were proven to be doing at work is offensive and bat shit mental.

Thankfully that parallel is only being drawn by an MP in a bad wig the NHS would be ashamed of and some desperate attention seekers on here.

Mouldy Boots if you read my post of late yesterday, I have explained why Johnson thought it was all OK and why his fans will agree.

My point was not made explicitly but can be inferred. It clearly isn't OK. Not remotely.

I understand your perspective but it will jar with those who agreed to not visit loved ones, who died alone, while Johnson was relaxing. Johnson is not a god and cannot do anything he fancies.

I also work in a hospital and the Fabricant musings are total bollocks. Everyone stuck to the rules.

That's all

Not just that, but then repeatedly and relentlessly lying about it happening. But by now it's pointless trying to convince anyone who hasn't already condemned it to do so, they simply don't want to

I did neither refer to the workplace or to lawmakers. I just think that a sense of realism is sometimes missing from peoples ideologies.

Talking of why Corbyn didn’t succeed……….

Boris won by a landslide if there was a general election tomorrow he'd probably win by a slightly reduced landslide, if the oppositions domestic and foreign policys are focused entirely on a slice of birthday cake, if left wing social media is in overdrive encouraging supporters to write to their nearest Conservative MP to complain about nothing else but a slice of birthday cake you know that they have absolutely nothing to offer except expressing anger and the horror of a slice of birthday cake
Bold claim.

Luckily we have around 3 weeks until the local election results to see whether any "landslides" at a national level are on the cards - as this time they are very much a barometer on the how the public judge Johnson.

So we have lots in common really, apart from I have no problem with the establishment or Etonians, even though we maybe poles apart.
I do know quite a few and all of them are decent people. I always feel the green eyed monsters tend to raise their head on this subject. What colour are your eyes?

Like I said, I believe in hard work and meritocracy. Can you tell me where both of these come in when someone is born into a vast fortune and / or a family that already has power?

I have never seen you crack a funny.

Why should you object to puntuation??? Again this is not a measure of IQ.

The thick, Albert Einstein once said :

"The only thing more dangerous than ignorance is arrogance. "

The hypocritical left, that love following capitalist ways, make me chuckle.

By chance do you live in a council house GB???
Although not formally diagnosed, many experts believe Einstein was autistic rather than thick.

Lol.

Fabric*nt's comments are a disgrace and rather than apologise he chose to double down. Our NHS heroes did us proud during the pandemic, they put themselves on the line for the protection of others

I'm sure the barometer will rise when the announcement about Rwanda is made today
and he'll be back in the good books for a lot of people ???

I agree it’s not necessarily a measure of IQ; which is subtlety different to what you typed. That said, wonky punctuation is a sign of either stupidity, ignorance, poor education, or maybe English as a second language in my opinion.

And you can be “left wing” and follow “capitalist ways”, try reading up on social democracy.

Again, lazy and trite ….and ignorant.

I think at worse he felt he flexed the rules.
They did not have Tony Blackburn spinning the discs, while Rishi was doing a moonwalk and Boris was doing his Peter Crouch robotics.

Like I said I am not condoning it at all.

You may not feel your are ‘condoning’ it, but in your attempts to dismiss it, you absolutely are.

What’s your defence going to be when the next fines hit - the ones for the bigger parties where they DID have a DJ in, etc…?

Definition of 'condone' = accept (behaviour that is considered morally wrong or offensive). Yes he is condoning it.

Unfortunately you are probably right. Clearly this is being pushed out now to get the headlines moving away from Partygate and ticks a lot of boxes for his supporters
