I'd like to add that I was not lamped yesterday, although the full harris did threaten me ???

Did I? Are you sure you mean me and not someone else? What did I threaten to do and for what reason did I, um, threaten it? As anyone who has met me would agree, if I were to threaten someone, it would probably provoke a reaction of laughter more than fear from them, I'm not exactly a scary hulk of a man! So, I wonder if you have got confused and mean someone else?

Basil Fawlty

Don't Mention The War
During the first half, 3 of our fans started to argue with my mum, saying how shit Kerry Mayo was. Then at half-time I overheard one of them say if Brighton let in another we're going, they were thinking about going at 2-0.
When we did eventually let the third goal in they walked out, my mate Mark said your not real fans to them and they started to argue with him one of them even said "if you don't shut up i will knock you out".

f***ing WANKERS.

The full harris? he's got a bit of a mouth to him, for no apparent reason.

What did he say?

Yes, what did I say? Will someone tell me what I have apparently said that is so bad?

I thought I was disliked for criticising the team and suggesting that being told to 'f*** our rivalry with palace' and that 'I don't have to pay my money to go and watch' was not an appropriate thing for a senior player to put on a supporter's internet message board.

But, no, apparently it is because I am full of myself. Does this mean I get to buy a shirt with posh buttons? What does 'full of yourself' even mean?

Nah, i dont even care about that really, all opinions, even though I dont agree with it.

It means you're cocky, you were being rude to people, one person in particular I can think of, and then u sent some smarmy PM to me, and then couldnt reply back when you realised you were in the wrong having slated me. Thats lame.

Full Harris, people are obviously entitled to express their views. I think its rather counter-productive to lay into the team, particularly given the circumstances (stadium, finances etc) they face. You would also struggle to find a more honest team, those players work hard, and as I have said before I think thats all we can ask.

That was pretty much what I said. People are allowed to express their opinion on a FANS website. As I keep saying, this season, I think the team have played the best football I, personally, have ever seen them play. I haven't been negative about the team. It's just that lazy lazy people such as yourself assume I have just because I think people who are negative should be allowed to say it, rather than actually reading what I write.

what's wrong with that?

oh, and your reply?:

enigma wrote on 11-12-2005 11:33 :
First of all, allow calling me lazy, you dont know shit about me, so thats a waste comment. And for starters where have I implied that YOU PERSONALLY have laid into the team? Re-read my post, and you'll find that it doesnt refer to any individual, I was talking about people that criticise the team generally. You take offence at that? Nothing to do with me.

Yeah people can say what they want. But its not particularly helpful when people lay into the team. They put the effort in, im not going to bang on about the circumstances they're in, its been done to death. Maybe you're of the people that thinks we should be challenging for the play-offs with players we couldnt afford, I dont know. But realistically, the players would do f***ing well to stay up, they only just did it last year and this year it will be harder without Virgo, Harding etc etc. I think the only grounds for criticism are lack of effort, and that hasnt been the case, so I wont criticise them. I dont think laying into them helps.

If people want to turn up and lay into players, then they have the right. But it kind of defeats the object of being a supporter.

[/B]

To be honest, I didn't see what the point in replying was.
You were claiming that adressing the point about not 'laying into the team' to me by name was not implying that I personally have laid into the team. I can't argue with nonsense!

As I said, if it was aimed at you I would have said so, Im not afraid to call someones name out, but I didnt so clearly it wasnt aimed at you. But your problem is you think it was. As you've said, you think the team are playing good football and have said so before, so why would I be laying into you?

I guess the 'you' is a plural 'as in everyone' use, but I'm pretty sure you name me at the beginning of that!
