Oh, the bloke on the train was a knob. Dont think we got a picture, but he was bald, wearing an earring and dressed in a sky blue tracksuit.

There was some other old bloke on the train who had apparently been to every away game since 1962...impressive!

And as to the guy that threatened you Scott, I think he was pissed off by some of the stuff that was intended to be light-hearted - e.g the "We all dream of a team of Marky Macs" song. The bloke clearly couldn't understand irony, but it wasn't if you were completely laying into the team, other than stating you opinions about what was going wrong. If the bloke ever went near H block, he'd witness ironic/sarcastic/mildly negative chanting, by good-natured albion fans who understand that the side has been put together on a shoe-string budget and won't be winning the Champions League in 2008. Christ, what would he have done if we'd scored, and you'd burst into chorus of "we're shit, and we're beating you". Most odd

Some people actually expect us to be winning the champions league!

I was arguing with that really irritating boys' even more irritating mother on the train about that! She said we should resign Micky Adams. :jester:

Indeed it was. I am sure I was equally irritating to other people, but I was in a very irritable and argumentative mood after that game, drinking all day, and the events on the train.

For someone who had been drinking all day, i thought your arguments were quite coherent :lolol:

Although, i do kinda agree with Mrs Irritating (was that Kev's mum?). If we had the choice of having Adams back, i'd love us to take it.

Well yes, obviously.

But I think she actually believed that we should sack McGhee and Adams would just come back!!

For what it's worth, thought Fatboy did a great job as peacemaker, and despite being pissed still talked a lot of sense.

Not sure who the "mrs irritating" was that you are referring to, possibly the woman who went ape following the Luton fan incident?

That sounds like Graham 'The Doc' Talbot, I think it was 1972 when he last missed a game. How much leave the Revenue give him is beyond me....
Flexitime!

He had his little list of pubs last night and was explaining to some young lads on the train! I don't think they could quite believe what he was telling them!

Is he the one who has only missed one game in decades (because of a wedding??).
