For what it's worth, thought Fatboy did a great job as peacemaker, and despite being pissed still talked a lot of sense.

Some of Kaney's jokes pushed another Brighton fan to the point of lamping him one on the train!!

that was most entertaining

I don't suppose they caused too much uproar, if they were indeed signing it, but still, what's wrong with that? Valid point, no?

As an expat from Luton and having lived in Sussex for 30 years I thought it would be good to take my 12 yr old son to his first game. After all the Brighton fans have a good reputation, esp for banter.
I'm no prude but last night some fans behaved appallingly with racist remarks and stupid (and extremely abusive aggresive chants) at the Luton keeper and asst referee. None of it made sense. My son summed it up by saying they clearly were not interested in the game. Shame . I doubt if he will follow the Seagulls now.

That game wasn't the norm though. Don't let your son give up on the Seagulls over what happened at Luton.

I'm taking our boy to Southampton on Monday, and after reading all this I really hope we dont get any plebs sitting within spitting distance of us and spoiling it.
