There really are no depths to which this mob currently won't go. Just awful awful people. So depressing that anyone votes for them at the moment let alone as many as look likely to. Oh well, the people get the government they deserve.

Quite. From the Guardian article linked to earlier: A Conservative party spokesperson said: “We are deeply disappointed that Channel 4 News has conspired with Jeremy Corbyn to block the Conservatives from making the case for tackling climate change and protecting the environment in this evening’s debate."

So - it's Corbyn's fault that Johnson refused to appear in the debate!

Johnson to be interviewed by Andrew Marr after refusing interview with Andrew Neil

This is bound to ruffle a few feathers. Boris Johnson, who is said to be refusing to sit down for an interview with the BBC's Andrew Neil, despite the other party leaders having done so, is now reportedly set to be appear on the Andrew Marr Show this Sunday. No10 will likely use the appearance to point out that the prime minister is happy to be interviewed by the BBC, but that won't satisfy those who want him to face Neil's forensic scrutiny.

Would be great if Marr phoned in sick that day and they called Neill in to cover.

Gaslighting, the new buzz phrase of the Liberal elite on NSC, takes over from Trope or Swivel Eyed!

However The Turkey one has been around for years!

Fine words, but, they'll butter no Parsnips.

Gammon seems to be waining too, maybe as Brexit has lost its momentum, it will be back!
Never bought in to " Gammon " , preferred Little Englander all the way, It fits a vision I have of of Geoffrey Palmer as Jimmy Anderson in " The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin ".... " Bit of a cock up on the catering front " " Shooters Reggie ! Come the day we need to be ready … rapists, papist's, papist rapists.... "

Passionate environmentalist, family man and bee keeper Robert Nemeth doesn't feel let down by his leader's stance on the environment. Apparently.

Very cruel ... it's the hope that kills them.

Their recent track record on predicting results isn't great.

June 2017 Election
Prediction: Conservatives majority of 66 seats
Actual result: Conservative short 8 seats of a majority

May 2015 Election
Prediction: Conservatives short 46 seats of majority
Actual result: Conservative majority of 12 seats

NSC certainly isn't short of people who think they are in some way superior and better-informed on political matters than the rest of the population ... while consistently proving the opposite is true.

2 of them gave you a thumbs up for that.

I'd love to see Nemeth defend that postion to the Vegan Runners after parkrun on Saturday. Bet he doesn't.

Why is it, the same people that don't give a shit if we are all poorer, as long as we get out of the EU, think Labours plans are too ****ing expensive?

Because they want independence first and foremost. That being their main passion, that despise a party that’s helped prevent Brexit in the Commons so far, hence the animosity to the Labour manifesto per se. If Corbyn/McDonnell had achieved their personal wish of Labour being clearly and honestly pro Brexit, my guess would be that the Labour manifesto wouldn’t have had such a bad reception by Brexiteers who are not traditional Tory voters.

Chaos innit.
