Moving on for a moment...……..

Does anyone, outside Scotland, feel that Scottish independence is a significant election issue?

Corbyn will give them another referendum, Johnson won't. I don't really care either way

It should be. As you point out, the SNP price for propping up a Corbyn government will be another referendum. Vote Labour and get two more divisive referenda paralysing and contaminating our politics for the next few years .... yay.

So it's ok for the English to leave the EU but not ok for the Scots or Irish to get what they want. Yay...Tory democracy wins again.

Not true, I gave him credit for initially saying he would respect and enact the referendum result (shame he has reneged on that commitment ).
Corbyn wasn't elected in 2017 so the Labour party went back to annual conferences to debate policies and new ideas. Corbyn didn't support a 2nd referendum even though all around him it was being screamed for, he only stood behind it when it became Labour Party policy voted upon by members at conference against his recommendation. That is what democratic leadership is about, following the will of those that vote for you.

People like you are willing to overlook anything (antisemitism, terrorist associations, fantasy manifestos, anti-west/NATO) as long as you get 'free' broadband /a second referendum.

That's never been my position but as we know your relationship with the truth is rather erratic. *NEWSFLASH* Being prepared to walk away from negotiations is essential or the other side knows you will always fold in the end. May was never prepared to walk away and the EU knew the HoC would block Boris from doing so therefore your statement is bollox. Nicely diverted away from the topic of antisemitism though ... I will add it to the list.

Diverted away from nothing. I don’t believe JC or the Labour party are antisemitic. Plenty of Jews who don’t either. I don’t believe he is anti west and I don’t believe he is a terrorist sympathiser.
Because there is zero evidence to back these ridiculous claims up.

The rest of your pathetic accusations don’t warrant a response.

So economic figures which suggest Scotland wouldn't be able to work as an independent country are to be believed, but economic figures which suggest the UK won't be able to work outside the EU aren't?

Not to mention there's plenty in the Tory Party all for walking away from the EU without paying them a penny, yet if Scotland tried to leave the UK without taking their 10% of the National Debt there would be hell to pay.

The Scots already voted to stay in a once in a lifetime/generation referendum ...

Keep asking the question until you get the right answer ... Labour/Lib Dem/SNP democracy ... yay.

Mark my words, If the Tory’s win the GE we still won’t have left the EU this time next year. Unless we crash out. Which would be a ****ing disaster.

You mean the same way British and American forces committed atrocities in the war in Iraq and Syria or the atrocities committed by the Russian army in Crimea etc or the Chinese army etc the list goes on and on. Almost all armies have committed atrocities during wars or conflict. What is wrong and anti Semitic is to always call out Israel and ignore all the other countries armies. At least Israel has the excuse that it is constantly on a war footing because many of its neighbours and their proxy armed groups want to attack and destroy Israel.
So Israel is off limits then? If it helps, I disagree with British atrocities. I also disagree with sales of arms to countries who commit atrocities. Can I criticise Israel now? Can I can I?

Circumstances have changed. They should be able to vote again. You got to vote on the EU again. You didn’t have a problem with that, did you?

It was Johnson who pulled the deal. Corbyn has never said he would pulk brexit, only that the deals so far have been dog shirt.

Anyone in space? What the heck are you on about?
Are you a child? I doubt it, so stop acting like one. You’re losing your composure and it’s becoming dull. If someone disagrees with you, don’t lose your cool. Take a breath and think it over.

Absolutely, 'bully for him'. Someone who is going to be insulated from the worst effects of the economic and social catastrophe we're about to unleash on ourselves, is to be thanked and applauded for bothering to still rail against it.
Oh dear the grim reapers turned up ! Is the reality of a Tory working majority starting to dawn on you ?

So Israel is off limits then?

No country is off-limits, but like many conflicts like that, the minute you take sides you have already lost the argument.

I used to be of the belief that the accusers of anti-antisemitism were blurring the lines between criticism of the state and criticism of the people. Having researched a bit myself, the blurring was very much the other side.

Language and imagery are also very important. It isn't a good look to stick the Star of David on the side of a pig for example.

If you are too passive like Corbyn, other countries will take the piss. You need to be seen to be strong or you can’t negotiate . Corbyn is absolutely not the answer. He doesn’t have the intellect , policies or morals.

You can call someone too passive in one breathe, supporter of violent terrorism the next. You must realise that doesn't make sense.

How has the strong Tory negotiations gone for 3 years so far? You're obviously impressed with their negotiation skills. In terms of consistency and morals, how many times did Boris vote AGAINST leaving the EU with a deal, was it 2 or 3 times, I can't quite remember? ???

https://www.politicshome.com/news/u...09/child-poverty-could-rise-record-high-under

With the Conservative manifesto offering "no changes to the status quo", the report said the party would preside over a further £3.8bn in cuts to working age benefits.

“As a result, under Conservative plans child poverty risks reaching a 60-year high of 34%,” it said.

In contrast, the Resolution Foundation said Labour has a "far-reaching plan" for social security spending, with a £9bn boost to benefits and pledges to extend free TV licenses, broadband, school meals and childcare.

What, that reality?
