May be paywalled, but extract below. Amazing progress.......

Over half of people in England now live in an area in which new cases of Covid have all but vanished, with some places not reporting a case in public data for more than a month.

Infections have been so low in areas with a total population of 34.5 million that Public Health England has redacted their latest weekly case tallies in order to protect the privacy of those – if any – who test positive.

These 4,307 areas could have had at most two new cases but potentially zero in the seven days to April 4 – and 1,091, home to 8.2 million people, have had their data suppressed every week since the end of February.

Perhaps more importantly, places with higher case rates like here in Leeds have been plateaued for weeks, but over the past few days have started falling dramatically. Not sure why.

I look at Adur where I live and the last time someone died registered of covid was five weeks ago...a positive test are at one or two a day

Brighton and Hove down to 10.7 cases per 100k with Lewes, Mid Sussex, Horsham, Rother and Hastings all under 10. The figures looking optimistic for our region.

Do you, or does anyone know, whether these vaccines are here in the UK ready to go, or on order to be made and delivered to the UK at some unspecified point in the future?

I read on Twitter earlier that the Janssen vaccine will be ready in July but that Novavax is being produced here in the UK and once given the go-ahead, will immediately start churning out vaccines. Novavax, are being made already in preparation for administering once approval is met.

150,000 new cases in 24hrs in India. Unfortunately it won't be over until most of the globe is vaccinated
