Apologies if fixtures but hadn't seen this in as much detail previously.

Fair comment.

I feel positive that folk will wear masks this time around.

Out for a couple of hours earlier, it's nice to see the high street buzzing again with normal folk, not just alcholics and smack heads!

People being sensible too

Got a much, much needed haircut this morning.

Seeing lots more places open this morning, just starts to feel a little more normal again.

Me too! Although, it took a while due to the fauna nesting in my beard!

R5 have reporters out in places such as Sheffield city centre. Chatting to many young-sounding entrepreneurs who generally seemed to have started retail businesses typically 18 to 24 months ago.

Such positive attitudes from all of them, elated by today’s opening up and optimistic for the future.

Love their view on life.

Parents due to get their second jab on Thursday and I get a much needed haircut tomorrow. All good news - especially for my wife who has had to put with my looking like a poor mans Milton Jones for the last few weeks!

I read earlier that the NHS system for booking vaccine appointments had crashed under the weight of demand. Not good news in and of itself but nonetheless indicative of the fact that there remains healthy take up as we begin to move into the less at risk age demographics.

No stats yet today (the Welsh are being blamed), and I'm going to the pub in a minute (again...lunch yesterday, beers tonight............lot a lot of catching up to do). Also had a 'haircut' today (or what passes for one on my mostly shiny dome). Doing 'normal' things is actually incredibly lifting - the mood in the (long) queue at the barbers was palpably jovial. :)
