What an angry irrational response, to a pretty fair comment, what do you mean 'you lot'? I've watched this club for almost 30 years in all 4 divisions, I've travelled to 56 games to watch this club's various teams already this season, where have I said I don't trust and respect Tony Bloom? So I don't need to be told what good owner he is, I wouldn't put that commitment in if I didn't. Do I realise that we are lucky to be where we are, yes, almost all my friends who support other clubs, are languishing in National League South/North. Thanks to Tony Bloom I got to watch European football, 90% of English fans never get to do that. Does that mean we should always look at anything above relegation as permanent success? Expectations shift, and we should be looking up the table, and we should always strive to do better, will I ever call for Tony Bloom to go? No? I don't think I ever have, Top 10 is the premier league is good enough, no one is debating that. Just lots of strange pointed 'you' who is the 'you', people who irrationally support the club no matter what home and away every week?
Additional to this I don't think I've ever called specifically for them to sack FH. Just that I was having doubts over him, anyway, I'll see everyone down at Culver Road then?

You might see the lad. I have a weapons grade cold, I swear it would floor a rhino, and I need to be fit for Saturday to drink a lot and spend the journey home posting bollocks on here

What was the "club statement" comment then
Well I never specified what that club statement would be about.:lolol:

Edit: I can't ignore the thread, but I can change the title. Hopefully that will lower the temperature a bit.
Sorry about that.
I was just about to summarise this thread as "everyone can f*** off" but changing the thread title has f***ed that.

Of course it’s healthy for fans to have a lively introspective debate about the club‘s current standing, but it’s also good to be reminded just how far we’ve progressed, especially when you talk to supporters from other teams. I met a Man City fan in a bar whilst on holiday this evening. He said he’s apprehensive about playing us next month, because “if the right Brighton team turn up, you will probably do the double over us”. Fingers crossed eh 🤞

I hope you just crossed your arms and nodded sagely.

I would be surprised if any of the "big teams" weren't a little apprehensive about playing us. We have shown many times that we are more than capable of beating them , its the bottom third of the table who wouldn't be too worried!:D

From my perspective watching every game this season is FH’s original tactics and ideas he came with didn’t work in the PL.
We’ve almost completed a full circle of trial and error and ended with two most DeZerbi like performances of the season against Chelsea.
Funny old world.

Except we lost 1- 0 in the cup and lost 2-1 at home to Chelsea under RDZ last season?

Certainly far to early to have long term doubts about manager but plenty including myself had short term concerns I still look back and cant understand why instruction were not given to mark Vardy out of game for 5 mins or how we were so open at end of Wolves game. Also about this time determined to get Dunk on so went 3 at back at half time.against Southampton. Didnt work but repeated at Fulham.
I feel as well as players doing well in Chelsea games a complete change from manager made a difference and credit to him.. With many of our forwards fullfilling defensive duties when Chelsea had the ball and defenders not over committing we were never in danger of of leaving us say 3 on 3 at back.
To sum up we all support through good and bad but nothing wrong with making critical comments

Fab lost the dressing room? None of our new signings good enough?

Where are the trolls/bedwetters now? 😂

Rutter absolutely fantastic.
Minteh born to run.
Two children (Baleba and Hinshelwood) bossed the midfield - think how good the future looks.
Gomez looks like an absolute beast.
Lamptey brilliant.

Performance from the whole team great. Clearly all together. Chelsea has great players and we restricted them to f*** all.

I'm not saying Fab is our lord and saviour, still lots to prove, but people calling for his head mid season with all the injuries we've had are a disgrace.

Give it until the end of the season, then we can assess.
Lamptey needs to have his contract sorted.....

Agreed. I think Minteh has made a big difference in the way he carries out his defensive duties whilst still maintaining an offensive threat.

If anything more of a fusion of peak Hughton with a dash of Potter than RDZ’s idealism glorious as it was when it was going well. Hurtezer has shown a capability for pragmatism over idealism in the last two results, something that has risen his stock over those thinking he was too inflexible or unwilling to tactically adapt.
