Most of the traditional houses are like this. But a lot of the modern ones have flat roofs which surprised me when I moved here.Your roof is very pitched is that for heavier snow falls?
If you don’t mind me asking is your house timber framed? Most of the traditional houses are like this. But a lot of the modern ones have flat roofs which surprised me when I moved here.
This is the first proper snow this winter which is unusual as we normally don't see the ground from late November until late March.
It was an interesting drive home. As soon as we drove out of Charing, up the A252 into the North Downs we hit a white out, with snow on the road and a blizzard in the headlights. It was very Christmassy. The cat (Ragnar the Bastard) wanted to go and play in it when we got home. That ;asted all of ten seconds.Currently snowing in Sittingbourne, not that any of you care - well apart from @Harry Wilson's tackle
It's been 10 to 12 degrees across Sussex since late last night...So how much settled snow does Sussex have just now?
Were the MetOffice accurate with zero?
