I can't see the opprobrium for Australia's tactics here. We know how England are going to attack the target in the final innings - we don't seem capable of batting out for a draw or playing solidly in that fashion. They know we are capable of getting 400 in a day - so the Aussies need to take up as much time as possible, all the while adding a little bit to the total. The way Australia will win is to set a reasonable target for us to attack and get out to.

Might not be 'entertaining' cricket - but it's all part of test tactics.
