Surely Bazball is the only way of getting that total?Out, finally. Eng need 371 to win
Do or die.

Did take a chunk of time out of the game for those runs, if they end up drawing with England 9 down they’ll kick themselves (well Lyon won’t with that injury)Brings to an end an absolute farce, those 15 runs could well be the difference.
If England finish with 9 down tomorrow they will have won.Did take a chunk of time out of the game for those runs, if they end up drawing with England 9 down they’ll kick themselves (well Lyon won’t with that injury)
Fun to watch? Have you watched the two innings of medium paced bouncers? It’s going to be painful to watch371 to win. Right in the gettable but difficult zone. Should be fun to watch, whatever happens.
Not as bad as when Malcolm Marshall came out to bat against us with his arm in plaster and hit a four one-handed……I'd hide my face in shame if that happened to me..

Presumably they were playing Bazball ? Irresponsible.Australia 187-2 to 279 all out
Well, both sides managed a similar outcome playing completely opposite ends of the batting spectrum.Australia 187-2 to 279 all out
The West Indies team of the 70s and 80s was the most brilliant and most aggressive I have ever seen. I grew up watching and admiring them. It wasn’t their problem how other teams combatted them. Not even getting hopes up because all we are going to get is another barrage of this when England bat, it’s literally impossible to score off it..
Q to anyone old enough to remember (as a 90’s baby) apparently these tactics were fairly common in the 80’s, how did teams combat it then? It just seems impossible to score from without taking risks that will eventually get you caught.
