Which is explained by the gradual reduction of viewers no longer tuning in at specific time to watch it live on late-night network television. Instead, many opt for the bite-sized chunks on YouTube which they can watch whenever they like -which is how I tune in. This is something that happens these days across the industry. Its nothing new.

Your notion that people are switching off in their droves from the likes of Colbert, Myers and Kimmel just because they're tured off when they see these presenters articulately and hilariously SHRED the lying rapey orange deranged bunglecvnt goon who you worship so much without question, is for the birds. Because you need a vacancy before you can put somebody else on the court. I.e. somebody needs to retire, or do a RBG.

Obama had a vacancy at the end of his presidency, but the GOP in congress held up holding a hearing on the nominee (the Senate has to approve the appointment) until after the election because it was "too close to the election" and "voters deserved to have their say". This was more than a year before the election, if memory serves.

Meanwhile, Trump had a vacancy at the end of his presidency. Shortly before the 2020 election. After early voting had already started in some states. But suddenly the GOP decided that voters didn't need to have their say, and rammed the nominee through.

It is possible to expand the court. There is no line in the constitution that says how big the court should be, but to do that would also require the support of the senate.

I'm pretty confident that most on here aren't particularly far left wing at all. Some may be, but I suspect most are pretty centre minded and probably some leaning more to the centre right or right wing. I'm certainly very open minded when it comes to politics.

Everyone on here though, bar you and one other, is united in thinking - based on his many, many, many vile actions and comments over many years - that Trump is an absolute cvnt of the highest order.
